    You have good informative videos...but this one...a re-edit is definitely needed. The playback speed and especially the sound constantly alternating speakers makes this a chore.

    I know this was back in Update 5, but this was super helpful even in Update 1.0 !
    I've been looking for a guide on exactly how to setup a simple Nuclear Power Plant, without making a ridiculous amount of buildings, products or mega factories, and this video helped immensely ! Now I feel I can actually make a continuation of this setup on my own. Thanks a ton for this video. I hope you'll do one for 1.0 !

    is this sped up to 1.25? setting it to 0.75 seems more normal.

    Seeing your process and how you use the available building methods was super helpful! Shame about the audio, but you've already explained that. Made nuclear look a lot more accessible.

    That lookout tower to line up your water extractor tip is a game changer can't believe I never thought to do that 😵

    I love how much separation you put between machines. It'd so different from most people who Cram everything together.

      It's a big map. Space is a nearly infinite resource in this game and it makes keeping logical order easy as well as simplifying tracking down problems

    I love this design. Very nice video!
    One proposal though: I'd probably take 3 more water extractors and a second nuclear power plant. Since everything in your design is at least cut by 50%, you could take this (almost) exact build for 2 power plants.
    Just my two cents and thanks again for the content!

    Excellent.
    The format of constructing the plan is really informative, much more useful for general build knowledge than a prescriptive finished layout, great work.

    I love this design!!! And I learned a lot watching you - even where you had to back up and fix things as you went along. I did run into a problem tho. I thought it would be easier to make several of these if I blueprinted it (two 12x12 blueprints that I could stick together). However there is a reported bug that won't allow you to place a water extractor INSIDE a blueprint. It says the water isn't deep enough when I try (but doesn't complain if I place it in the same spot after deleting the blueprint.) So I had to put the water extractor for the sulfuric acid outside the 22x10 border and route a pipe in from there. Otherwise the plant works great! Thanks for doing this - I will subscribe.

    Great video. I came to learn a bit about Nuclear power setups and ended up learning several new building tricks. Thanks for the video. Il have to check out others you have made.

      Yes, this is a mistake though, and I am not sure how it happened. I must have done something in resolve incorrectly. Apologies for that.

  • @torxe3922

    Didn't like that you sped up this video, while the information you wanted to tell was still clear and understandable the increased speed made watching the video a lot less entertaining and enjoyable.

    • @Dekoba
      @Dekoba  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the feedback - the video itself was normal speed, only the audio was sped up, which was a mistake in editing. Apologies for that.

      @@Dekoba No problem, Thank you for the reply. I like your content it makes me eager to jump back into the game again. This is the first one that I didn't 'enjoy' per se, and I felt like I should let you know what the reason behind it was.

    Audio on your voice is a bit strange in this video?

    • @Dekoba
      @Dekoba  2 роки тому +1

      Yes I'm not sure how I made the mistake but it is sped up by about 20% . I often speed up clips for my time-lapse segments and must have somehow done it to the entire audio track by mistake. If you set the youtube sped to 75% the voice is normal. Sorry about that!

      This video is 2 years old - a week after I did another version available at ua-cam.com/video/7CxEOZNfvR0/v-deo.html. the design still works but they changed the recipe to require rotors instead of beacons - same materials, though slightly less than I state in the video.
      Ill make an updated guide in the next few weeks, im still on fuel in my 1.0 save myself.

    really enjoyed this HOWEVER. please if your going to make a tutorial video, learn how your going to build it before you start recording.. trying to build and follow along is very fukn confusing when your constantly deleting parts because you have better ideas...
