I think I'm your first subscriber! I loved this video and need to do this myself. I have a lot more yarn than you though so it's a bit daunting to start. I've been working through my WIPs and keep telling myself when I finish all of the WIPs, I'll take a couple weeks to tally my yarn. I recently just got into nicer yarns like hand dyed fingering and really wish thinner yarns were made commercially so we could get solids at a more affordable price! It was great to find another fiber artist who nerded out over the numbers! I'm a college statistics professor so it made my heart happy! Looking forward to watching your other videos this weekend!

I fully understand what you mean about it feeling daunting to start, especially considering you have more than I do! Thankfully (or unfortunately?) now that I posted this video, I feel like I can't back up now even if I wanted to 😆 Hopefully Yarnspirations will eventually figure out that they're sorely lacking on 1 and 2 weight yarns in their catalog, until then I hope I can do some damage on my stash because it'll game over for me when that happens haha Yesss! I love that we can relate not just on our love for yarn, but also our love for data 🥰 you gave me the idea to go into a little more detail on my stash stats, that would be super fun to put together! I already recorded some more of my stash busting today so there's more coming very soon ♥️
