Everything turned out great! I love the egg at the bottom kind of flattens the bottom to sit better. I think the face is adorable! I wonder if just wrapping a thicker skewer for the flower stem would help make the project a little faster. I really want to do a bouquet some day too. The coaster sets are a lot of fun and pretty quick though! I’ve gifted a lot of those as well!

I used the fillers from a used pillow but I was it first and I don’t think anything is wrong with that. Nothing wrong with that. It is totally ok.

Love all the Mother’s Day gifts that you made! An idea for the cat bed (if you make another one), use panty hose for the boarder stuffing. I saw someone do that once and I make all stuffed animals that way now. Luv ya gurl! Great to see you again! 😊

I don't think there's ever a magic moment of yes I've achieved the feeling of belonging in this community. Definitely relatable. I don’t really feel like I fit in anywhere. I’m comfortable with who I am but it’s still hard and sometimes I get down about it. And yeah UA-cam doesn’t love me either. I’ve been running my channel for 9 years or something and only broke 1k because of the granny square yarn. And now engagement and such is going make down to “normal”. I feel like I’m doing the same thing that everyone else is doing but can’t get the same level of engagement that others do and it’s frustrating. ❤

I related to your rambling so much! I did grow up in one location at a small private school, but felt like an outsider from day one in kindergarten. I went to the same school for thirteen years but only ever really connected to international students once I got in high school. I think for me it was mostly the curse of being a teacher's kid, but I also remember no one could ever understand my dad because of his 'heavy' Spanish accent. I still don't hear my dad or his families accents 😂 How are your goals this year going? I'm finally walking around really well and working through my WIPs like crazy!

I relate so much with your story! My mom and I moved around so so much when I was a kid. I didn’t go to the same school for a whole year until 5th grade. So by that point everyone already had their friend groups figured out. I was always ok with that; I figured out how to enjoy my own company. But I can see the impacts of it all as I’ve become an adult. As for your YT engagement, I think the algorithm favors those who put out regular content about things that are very popular (so in our knitting community I’d say that’s Petite Knit, My Fav Things Knitwear, and popular indie yarn companies). Those that don’t do those things see less engagement because your videos don’t get pushed out as much. But honestly I prefer channels like yours because it feels more relatable to me and more cozy!
