    Military you say, thank you for your service, my Dad 36 years Air Force, 30 years DOD QA, and me USMC Vet, Air Force Civ, DOD, NGA, Andrews AFB, MD, (I had to leave due to MS). We had a 1973 Barracuda, until 1995, my Dads' car given to me at 16, unfortunately the oil pump went out on the belt way and ceased the 318S, Dad sold it. That car was like a rocket, even the smaller 318, plenty of power, and a joy to drive, thank you for the video. May God bless? Semper Fi, Amen.

    Beuatiful car man!! I'm building a 73 Challenger with the US CarTool level 2 chaasis stiffening and the QA1 coil over suspension. I hope to be out there carving up the roads with you someday. Keep building and more importantly keep driving those cars!!!

      @@RylisPro I used to have a 73 Cuda that was the same color of blue as yours. My project is a rolling shell right now so I have a long ways to go but coming across your videos has me inspired. Did you have to modify the rear at all to fit those tires?

    • @RylisPro
      @RylisPro  Рік тому +2

      @@TheSpaceBorn Your 73 Challenger build is further than mine. Ours has a bent passenger frame rail I still need to correct so you'll probably finish your Challenger before me haha! As for the rear the leaf springs are relocated 1.5 inches inward to provide clearance. The rear fenders are folded up as well as the front fenders to fit the 18x10.5 inch wheels all around. The key is the custom offset of the wheels to fit 315's on all four corners. Thanks!

    Hey! It’s me with another alternator question. I could not quite see, but how much clearance do you have between the alternator and passenger side frame rail? Doesn’t look like you had to notch it.

    • @RylisPro
      @RylisPro  2 роки тому +1

      The gap between the alternator & passenger side frame rail is quite close. About an inch or two inches if I remember correctly? its close but has plenty of clearance for engine movement. I didn't need to notch the frame rail at all. thanks!

    How much do you think a well sorted out restomod would sell for . Ranges ? I found one with amazing paint and fully restored paint and interior for 35? Is that a good deal . It’s not original Hemi Cuda but it’s my First classic car I am looking to buy so I don’t know what’s a good deal .

    • @RylisPro

      It would would depend on a lot of factors just as what engine/transmission combo is installed, what model year it is, too many variables to say for an accurate number

    Too bad you feel the need to use profanity as not only me but several other members of our club wanted to show your video to our kids. (Edited because this was said harsher than I intended) Remember, profanity "can be at times" the language of the ignorant.

    • @RylisPro
      @RylisPro  2 роки тому +1

      I agree, bad habits are hard to get rid of as 4 years in the Marines is where I learned all my profane language from. I have a newborn son as well & need to watch my language around him as well... That being said, I still have my freedom of speech & my videos are intended for an adult audience. To make my videos without fully utilizing the English language, profanity included to emphasize my point of view, is just not my style... Maybe that does make me ignorant? Just like anyone I still have lots to learn. Thanks for watching my video & will re-consider the profanity in the future.

      @@RylisPro Hey man, I apologize regarding the ignorant comment. That wasnt fair. I also first learned of your car years ago on another youtube channel. I totally get your plan of execution on your Cuda' and agree 110%. By the way I want to thank you for my and my families freedom. I'm guessing you get tired of hearing that. Who knows, Lord willing maybe you and I will meet someday at an event because I'm slowly building a 69 GTO as a daily driver/autocross car. Anyway, I really appreciate your consideration regarding swearing. I understand my position isnt very popular this day and age.

We service members would never take the publics appreciation for granted as we wouldn't want our loved ones to experience whatever we went through. Please finish your GTO!
