But do you know that this technology actually exists. Rafael, f35 like jets have that. The radar signature of self jet is generated and sent to the enemy radar with some change copies in phase. It creats the illusion that multiple jets exists at different location. It called active stealth I think.

The chinese radar are based on Israeli tech, they have borrowed/stolen tech , so the radars will have a difference of 15/20% , better plus the lower rcs of lca tejas will help it a lot, but that dosent mean, we shouldnt optimize uttam. Once LCAs mk1 and Mk1a are integrated with Uttam and indigenous EW suite, it wld be the best in south asia region in 4.5 + category

Jf 17 is advanced. It has mid flight refueling probe installation capability. This reduces drag as when the mid flight refueling is done the pilot can again remove the probe and store it. No need of retractable probe mechanism. It is very complex and adds to weight.
In all aspects jf sevendeen is the best you can not campare it to a made in India low capability aircraft (LCA).
The afterburner thrust of Klimov RD 93 MA variant is actually 93 kn and not 91kn as stated in this video.

Pakistan has produced 50 block 1s 60+ block 2s, 6 aircraft's were delivered as export orders and around 15 JF17-B. Which is showing the maturity of thier production line. JF 17s is successfully filling the attrition gap created retiring of old fighters while giving them a major upgrade ( like BVR, AAR, HMS, AESA) than the retiring fighters (F-7PG, Mirages) and becoming the backbone of PAF. While Tejas will only be a supplementary fighter to other advance platforms like SU 30, Mirage 2000, Rafael. Thus the overall significance of both the programs can't be equated at all in my humble opinion. In this case JF 17 program has been more value to money program.

Logically I can only think of one reason to have a modular refueling probe and that is to reduce drag. But it seems far fetched
It would mean the engine is nearly pushed to limits and they are cutting on drag wherever they can.
And as far as propaganda goes, admitting that your jet does not have a refueling probe is better than saying the engine can shit the bed anytime.
Removing the probe would barely make any changes. Remember the mirage family can break past mach number 2 with the probe attached all the time
Aerodynamics isn't the reason for this otherwise the plane will have drag always when it use the attached probe. It makes no sense from aerodynamic point of view.
Tejas mk1a will be 93,000 times better than jf blunder 3.

Mig 21 n Jaguars will be retired until 2025.
The mk2 will be produced after that and amca will be manufactured by a private company which will be suitable for aircraft production like tata and it was clearly said by indian air force. Tedbf maybe also produced by private parties but no conformation yet.

No, iaf didn’t lag in BVR capabilities, in last skirmish iaf can fire those missiles on paf jets but since iaf jets were Dmax (maximum missile range) which will miss for sure and paf of course they fired Aaram in dmax which made su 30mki to dodge all missiles easily. For another fact: iaf got bvr missiles in 1980s thanks to mig 29 and mirage 2000 induction. And BVR is future which I highly agree with that

Why do you take JF-17 seriously? It's not a Pakistan equivalent of Tejas. Tejas is Indian design. There are some critical parts like engine and radar imported though. JF-17 is Chinese FC-1 design modified to client specification (PAF). JF-17 is as indigenous to Pakistan as Su-30MKI to India. JF-17 Blk-III is a capable fighter, but nowhere near Tejas Mk1a.
The PAF however dealt with their expectation in more mature way than IAF. They inducted inferior JF-17 Blk 1 and Blk 2 in number. At least these are better than F-7P/PG and they were able to replace all F-7P/PG with JF-17 Blk 1 and Blk 2 without dipping squadron strength. Numbers have its own advantage.

What will matter in reality is which aircraft has better radar (so as to detect enemies) and which aircraft has better BVR missiles.
As simple as that.
Pakistan claims that their jets use their AWACS to detect and also to target their missiles. They also claim that their missiles have a 350 kms range. Which means their aircraft can detect and kill Tejas from 300+ kms away...

India cannot sell Tejas to any country without US permission, that will be the biggest hurdle in Tejas selling point.

You might be right. Some minor changes here and there. After all can't increase the price of a plane. It is a light fighter and the fact will remain that this is a poor country and filling the numbers is priority.
This was designed specifically for FC-1 with increased thrust and relocated gearbox compared to base RD-33's, although the increase of thrust decreased the service life of RD-93 to 2200 hours from RD-33's 4000 hours.
Pakistan has developed a new technology where air refilling probe is invisible which is good for their 11 general jf 17

The issue is not that jf17 is better or tejas the main thing is who can induct more jets. In case of tejas the quality of tejas was never a issue the problem with it is production of it and getting it inducted I mean no matter how good the prototype jet is it is of no use in war if it's not in service

I'll be very honest but f-17 Block 3 has some advantages over Tejas Mk1A like helmet mounted display & other systems . By 2025 we should've got Tejas Mk2 to totally outperform JF17 Block 3 but we are way late than we expected.
