Amazing video!! You won't understand it if you've never rowed
That is not truth..I am an erg athlete and I can feel it clearly..olympic level of rowing is thrilling me..
When I was young it was all about the pain. Training then was all about the pain. Now that I am old I no longer feel it because it is all about the flow.
Put them together. They should have always been together
My coach once told me..
It doesn't matter about the size of an athlete.
It's about the fight in that competition.
9 times out of 10 size matters, however a very very good lightweight can beat most of the heavyweights.....only my view.
I went on a French regional competition at the beginning on the year in single sculls and ended in a D final with the 5th time
The race was really intense and managed to finish 1st with only 1 second in front of the 3rd, and when I shook hand with the 2nd, he was massive and weighted like 15kg more than me, but still, managed to beat him because I never gave up and stayed focused in my technique for 2000m

Rowing I love you!! 😍😍😘😘♥️
All my companions of rowing told me once : why do we do that ?
Mental strength is so much more then anyone could ever know. Not only do we do this but we work our butts off almost every single day and put ourselves under an absurd amount of pressure to do out best. rowers are not only strong physically but mentally. Not only that but my coach says that rowing is the ultimate team sport. You meet some of your closest friends ever and you work with these people almost on the daily to create greatness.
One of my most favoured videos on rowing on youtube... so serious, full of experience and: every word ist sufferend , once and again, and again, and again, and ... my rowing teacher teaches me: "pain passes, but the proud, you have for your life!" Thx Fabian Kliche!
