Wow, you hit that out of the park. Awesome job. It’s funny how some of us inexperienced DIYers can do this. It’s really all about patience and taking your time. But you did awesome and it looks really good
Thanks! Yeah it’s not without a lot of watching others who know a whole lot more than me. I do get frustrated, but try to take a break or focus on something else for a while when I do. Good that I don’t have a deadline to get this all done!
I know what you mean about the stuck point. I do the same thing not sure so I keep checking and checking and ..... So i start then I check some more and more. Some times it's not so good and there's times it looks like a pro did it. So I look around to see that guy LOL. Looking good sir.
I plan to do epoxy primer and the engine bay/undercarriage, but don’t think I want to do the paint myself on my first time out. Lots of things are easy to grind out and start over, but paint is less forgiving to newbies!
If I may, I recommend supporting in multiple spots and measuring everything - distances to level, apron width, cross distance of the engine bay, etc. And when you start putting it back together, test fit everything: firewall, cowl, export brace, fenders, everything. There are some things that I never would have caught without testing that would cause a nightmare when I went to fit the cowl! Also if you haven’t, search for Jo Daddy Garage and watch his videos on the parts you’re working on. He’s methodical, knows his stuff, and does a great job explaining things. Good to see different ways of approaching it.

My pleasure!

Thanks for watching!
Great progress! Congrats!
Thanks! The firewall was a bit stressful, but everything came together pretty well

Thanks! Yep, tough to know exactly when to call it good enough. I know sometimes I overdo it, and others I wish I took more time to do it more slowly!
Will you be doing new paint job on it yourself?
