I agree with most of the respects of this video. This must be the typical Japanese wedding reception which we have also had😅in my generation.
But I think these days, it is changing..
you can arrange and request the hotel or wedding company what you want to do at the wedding reception.
My son had a wedding reception at so called luxury old established hotel, but they had meetings with the hotel many times and had speeches from bride and groom ,groom sung with playing guitar , streamed the video which they made ,…etc..
😂we laughed and laughed. had a wonderful unique reception 😊 ❤

At an American wedding, family members and relatives sit in front and the guests sit in the back. This is totally opposite from Japanese weddings and I felt odd when I saw it for the first time. Did you notice this difference when you went to a Japanese wedding for the first time? Didn't you feel odd?

I love listening your show! I like wedding in USA better than Japanese. As you said, it feel more intimate than Japanese receptions. Also you can leave early and no one cares😂😂By the way, I live Georgia for 25yesars and never seen Kei-truck😉😉

I feel so sorry that the younger generation will never have a chance to witness a traditional Japanese wedding reception held at the bridegroom's family's house in olden days, particularly in countryside. It could last until the morning of the next day. Preceding the wedding and the reception, there used to a procession of the bride and her family to the bridegroom's family's house from the bride's family's house.
