The OG Snowspeeder from Empire was my reward for using the toilet for the first time as a little kid LMAO!
I still have it too :O It's not in that great of shape though, heavily played with it.
Still have some of the OG Star Wars toys in the attic, not sure what to do with them. The neatest ones IMO are the small metal figurine sets I remember getting because they were on clearance at Toys R Us. There was the Ion canon Hoth set, Cloud City lightsaber fight set and I think one more.

You should do a toy segment on each episode of the podcast! This was so fun. There’s something so special about Star Wars toys that makes me so happy. The Power of the Force line will always bring me so much nostalgia since that was the line that I bought as a kid. I’d love to see more of the collection in future episodes!

I'd love to see more of these. Love seeing reviews/hauls of prequels and legends toys that were on the shelves when I was a kid. Seeing your pod racer pack reminds me of the Republic Commando Delta Squad battlepack I saw at Toys R Us when I was a kid. Never got it. Still want it.

I am 33, does anyone around my age remember the Star Wars Action Fleet toys? My childhood was filled with Action fleet X wing, Y wing , snow speeders, A wing and tie fighters dueling in my repeated reimagining of the battle of Endor. Those were the best toys ever

Jealous of that 442nd Trooper! One of the harder ones to find in that line. They're my favourite legion.
That whole wave of figures was made up of Concept Art for Episode III, including some Clone and Droid designs. 442nd were just early green versions of the 212th. When these figures came out, they got some "canon" backstory in a blurb on the box.
442nd were Plo Koon's troops in that earlier legends era (figure was released in 2006).

My brother got some used Star Wars toys from a cousin that was almost the same age, but they were Luke's speeder and I think he had Boba's ship too. A little used but fun. These toys are cool to see and definitely enjoy the enthusiasm! I'd love to see you guys make a diorama of a battle. I thought the Clone on top of the Crab droid would be awesome!

2006 Saga Legends Commander Cody is still my favorite toy. TVC Cody is better but the 2006 has a sentimental value to me.
Warning: Very long and unimportant story about me getting a Commander Cody toy.
I wanted a Commander Cody figure ever since I saw the movie in theatres. So when I found out that they finally came out with one in 2006, I asked my dad to look for one. We used to live in the Philippines so supplies are limited and the "rarer" figures are mostly found in local toy shops (which is harder to find especially in the early 2000s).
Being the kid that I was, I figured out the perfect solution. I was going to wait for Christmas and ask Santa Claus to get me one. It makes sense right? I mean he "makes" toys and doesn't buy them. So nearing Christmas time, my little kid brain decides a few days before the 25th that I want Santa to get me one of the Star Wars Battlepacks instead (multiple figure box sets). All I knew was that Santa is making toys and can therefor just pull out what I want from thin air as long as I "wish" for it before 12:00 am of the 25th. Of course being as indecisive as always. I happened to change my mind AGAIN on Christmas eve. I don't want a Battlepack anymore. I wanted a Commander Cody figure!
This is where the magic happens and why I think my mom is a master manipulator and why this figure has so much sentimental value. When I woke up at 12:00am to open my gift. I found Commander Cody. All I could think of at that time was how amazing Santa was. He got me what I wanted even though it was a last minute change. How did he do that? IT HAD TO BE MAGIC AND HE HAD TO BE REAL! This is what ultimately convinced me to believe Santa was real up until I was 12 (I was 9 when this happened). I always had my doubts because I would always get what I wanted and my cousins.... not so much. I mean it had to be real right? How can Santa do a last minute change?
Well fast forward to when I was 12 and I asked my mom who Santa Claus was and she told me that it was her. It wasn't my dad (who she says couldn't care less about christmas gifts. Which also explains why there's little effort from my Aunt/Uncle). Every single time it has been my mom. Now while that's great and all, I was still baffled AND STILL AM TO THIS DAY how she managed to do it. My mom is a doctor and has barely any time for anything other than work and spending time with her kids. How did she do it and most of all, HOW did she get Commander Cody when I asked for it on Christmas Eve?
To give context to where I used to live. I lived in bumfuck nowhere in the Philippines where the closest mall is 12 hours away. When I get my Star Wars toys, it's only when we go on vacation and go to Manila where I can get access to toy stores and malls. Remember when my dad looked for Cody and couldn't find one? He was in Manila at that time and he said that he didn't find any. He's usually very successful when looking for a toy that I wanted but Commander Cody is very elusive.
So I had to ask my mom (and to this day I think I only have 90% of the picture). How was she able to travel to Manila (which is 12 hours away), find Commander Cody (which is hard to find), AND come back home (which is another 12 hours). How did she do it all just the day before Christmas? Apparently she didn't. That was her answer. She got me Commander Cody a month ago. She stated that she ultimately always knows what to get me. Santa never misses because she knows me better than anyone. She knew I've been looking for Cody for a long time and knew that I'll ask for it on Christmas (because apparently I always use Santa as a backup when my parents can't get me a toy I'm looking for). So I asked her what happens if I changed my mind? She stated that she has her ways of making me go back to what I originally asked for... THE MASTER MANIPULATOR! SHE USED A JEDI MIND TRICK ON ME! When I asked for more clarification, she said no.
Lastly, I asked how she gets me toys that I want when she doesn't do anything but be busy at work. She said that many of my older cousins (I have a really big family) in Manila (where the toy stores are located) get them for her. While they're on my father's side of the family, many of my cousins love my mom because she's nice and generous to them. So when she asked many of them for a favor, they always come through for her. Every single time, a month or two before Christmas, she would ask me to write down what I want. She then tells my cousins in Manila to go look for it and they'll send it to her before Christmas comes.
The entire time I thought that it was magic and Santa was real. When really it was my mom and the co-operation of my cousins that make the magic happen. The amount of effort my mom put just to make Christmas magic seem real to me is still insane to me. I asked her multiple times before why she did it and her answer is always the same... She got a kick out of seeing me freak out about Santa Claus every Christmas.
