The way I tried to answer it was that we know the conclusion has to have something to do with ethical dilemmas, so the answer has to involve it. So I crossed out the answers that don’t describe an effect or assumption stemming from the ethical dilemmas (A, C). We also know it’s either government or corporations, but we can’t know for sure one may “win” or have more/less dilemmas over the other, so I eliminated the ones that picked government/corps over the other without any evidence or support (B, E). The easiest part is understanding the main idea of the argument and eliminating choices that don’t really talk about it. Their way of doing it is complicated, I found process of elimination was the best way to go!

@@juliasummer9188 I’m an idiot. I thought the ethical dilemma was pointless background info not the conclusion

doesnt OR mean EITHER of them ?? if its government or corporate funding then it should mean EITHER one of them ?

It does say OR, but it also says that "Government is the exclusive source of founding for most genetic research"
I think it is saying that founding can be by the Government OR by the Government AND Corporations, but NOT by a Corporation alone.

I thought that 'genetic research'; and 'advances in genetic research' were one and the same, so I chose B :/
