- In today's video I am finally sharing my favorite hair extensions for short hair and showing you how you take your short hair to long hair with clip in extensions. Clip in hair extensions for short hair can be hard to blend in - so I am giving you all my tips and trick to blending them in seamlessly. I also threw in two hair tutorials specifically to help style clip in extensions but with or without extensions these hairstyles are great ones to try out!!

These are great tips! I only wish I knew the “braiding the nape” technique two years ago. I went in for a pre-wedding trim and the stylist not only chopped off six inches of hair, but she also gave me a much less layered cut on my already super thick hair. So I wore extensions for my wedding, but to this day in some wedding photos I can see where my real hair ended. Such a smart idea to be get some of the real hair out of the way!

I'm excited. I've just finished ordering a swatch for the hair extensions. Yay! The swatches are normally $10 but there was no charge this time, for some reason. I've had a rough couple of years and have lost all A LOT of hair in the process so this is a little boost that I need. lol these are so good..you cant tell that the extensions are adding that much length it just looks like you used to them to add a little extra volume and oomph to the hair but you really cant tell you went from short to long hair...love it..im gonna check them out

I'd love to have you do a video on the ethics of hair extensions. This brand talks a lot about honesty on their website, but they don't disclose how they source the hair, and how people are compensated for it.
I'm quite concerned about that, too! We're all very attached to our hair here and to think some people may have been deprived of their hair without their consent, or pressured in any way to do so makes me feel terrible and refrain from even thinking of buying them. Which is a shame tbh, as they do look amazing.

I needed this video! I have been growing out an a-line and hate my hair. I bought extensions a while ago but I couldn't blend them the way I wanted to.
I love beyond extensions!! I have a type of red hair that almost appears orange so it’s hard to find extensions. However Beyond had the perfect shade!
It would be really nice if you could do a video about different brands of hair extensions. Pros and cons of each set, price points, styling and wearing them out for a day to see how they last through. And tips on how to make them last through styling, washing, drying, etc. I really like these extensions but I don't know enough about taking care of them nor will I actually be wearing them enough to want to jump to their price point. I just simply wouldn't be wearing them anymore than once or twice a month; at most.
But for anyone reading this comment debating on getting them, I DID get their swatch kit and the hair is great. There's multiple different tones in the hair so it looks super real. I'd say it's well worth the price for what you're getting, I just won't be using them enough to want to spend that much money.

Hi Kayley! Love the video.I honestly thought that it wouldn't look as blended straight versus curled, but it looked amazing straight as well! These extensions looks so good. I would love to see a hair video on ways you can use the topsy tail tool!
Oh also, my mom has really thin hair and as she gets older she is losing more and more hair. It's something that affects her self esteem a lot. I told her we can get her some clip in extensions. However she is most concerned about the front/top of her hair, her part line, and how easy it is to see her scalp from the top looking down. Is there a way to clip extensions in on top that will look natural? I've also bought her root touch up spray that can help but she is still embarrassed when she goes out.

How do you hide the upper wefts/clips so well with hair pulled back, and only an inch between wefts? Mine "buckle" a little and create bumps that my natural hair doesnt cover as well.

I have the same haircut and I've been searching for extensions but there's always the fear that they will look very fake, this video really helped with that.
I've always wondered how comfortable all of that is? Seems itchy and heavy.. but it looks amazing!!!!
If you buy quality ones, they are super comfortable. They do get itchy if you don't wash them for a long time. I also have halo extensions, those are my favorite!

So I have Lucy brand extensions, would you say they are a good brand in terms of quality and how long they will last?
My hair is also shorter in the back and longer in the front. So I make two small braids and pin them back? I would say it’s at that length where it’s not flipping outward as much but still does it a little from how it bends at the neck.

I have hair extensions and they look great in my hair and blend wonderfully, but the issue I have with them is that there isn't as much hair on the back of my head as there is on the sides, and I struggle to be able to cover all of the extensions.
