Most are not taught and package does not inform, also the longer tip is a finger grab do not open n spread the tips , it’s meant to grab it’s designed ratio of hair. Another tip, they are meant to do an x marks the spot so most secure when crossed one over the other creating a lock. It’s a cosmetology class knowledge and education,,, not generally -- as in non pro population.

Thank you! I have never been very girly or cared about my hair or nails or anything but I have been trying to lately. I dyed my hair and love the color but I got drunk the other day and cut my hair really short on accident (oopsies) but when I dyed my hair and loved it, I decided to finally try out extensions. I spent way too much money and dyed them my same color and was excited but I couldnt blend my hair in and I got dejected and was thinking "see, this is why I shouldn't try" but you helped me alot. If you angle your side pieces as well when you go to clip them in starting at an upward angle they will blend even better. As it will follow your natural crown

I was worried how light the extensions were against your natural hair but it ended up looking so good!! :) I ordered my first clip ins and I have all dark hair and I ordered brown/blonde balayage ones! Nervous to see how they blend but your tutorial helped a lot :)

Ok so I realize this video is 3+ years old but I just happened to come across it as i was googling DIY aftermarket balayage coloring on my extensions. When you said you pin the back up I recommend try using little hair rubber bands but make sure they are the rubber ones and not the little plastic ones because those ones if one happens to break they don’t feel real good close to the scalp as they are not very strong. I truly love using them in my hair and what I do when I wear my clip ins is right where I am going to put the clip at I get a very small bit of my hair and tie it as close as I can get it to my head and wiggle the teeth of my clip into the secured hair and on top of the rubber band to help hold the extension in place incase of slipping was to occur because I am always so worried about accidentally pulling one out in public lol. Me personally I don’t do a band for every clip only for the single and double clip strands and for the longer pieces i just put one on each end but if you wanted to put on every clip you certainly can it really up to each individual. To me it reminds me of the tiny braid that do when you get the sew ins done and it gives me more confidence and they actually seem more like your real hair because your not as nervous about pulling them out when you move your hair to one side or moving around! ❤

Yes I do! And washing them is a pretty long process because they take foreverrr to dry, but they only need to be washed like once a month because I dont wear them often!

I had been researching all week good hair extensions and I’m glad I found your video because bellami has gone downhill so bad and I have short to medium thick hair and have been having issues trying to find good hair extensions. Why would you want to be outside in wind strong enough to lift your hair? Plus you could wear a beanie or hat or even hoodie
Good question. Sometimes wind happens sudden so it is a great question. We can't control mother nature.

Any tips for people that used to have very long hair and then accidentally burnt off all the hair from bleach, that's my situation now lol I had very long hair and now I have a pixie cut from poorly experimenting with bleach… but I think she looks great the way she put in the extensions blends perfectly without it being curled but I know how it feels to have extensions in and you feel like everyone else can see them.. I'm hoping with my now short pixie hair I can get my hair to grow out as fast as possible! 😬 And in the meantime just put in extensions I've never had super short hair before and I feel horrible..

How long does your hair stay pinned up in the back with the bobby pins I can’t get mine to stay.
I use like 200 bobby pins if i know that I'll be wearing them for more than 4 hours, that way it's bullet proof! But also, it does make a difference how youre placing your pins. They should criss cross into x's that way they dont slide out
@@madalinepompeii i find a texturing powder like L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni.art Super Dust makes your hair really really grippy and then I don't need more than four pins a side trust me it will change your life! 💋

my exstenions wont keep my curls in like this it's annoying their foxy locks 24inch and iv cut them and layerd them but still wont hold
