Ian Paice is such a humble guy, despite the fact that he is one of the hard rock giants.
Besides showing the obvious talent of Yoyoka and Sina, it shows what a genuine down to Earth bloke Ian Paice is. He could choose to shrug his sholders and mutter “nice try girls” but instead he chose to make a project like this.
I’m not a drummer myself, although i’ve always enjoyed the drumming on just about every piece of music i’ve have had the pleasure to listen too. My guitar play is nothing to write about either, but that’s another story.
It’s a big enjoyment to follow young musicians who still play rock as it was supposed to be - with heart and feel.
Thank you Paicey, thank you Sina and thank you Yoyoka.
Ian is 3 months older than me. Deep Purple was one of my favorite bands since their beginning. What a fantastic collaboration between one of the best drummers there was, and two of the best there is/will be.

Yoyoka has to be the hardest hitting drummer on the tube. Incredible talent. What really makes her so enjoyable to watch and listen to is her smile. She really loves what she is doing.
Sina is as always, excellent. Always improving and increasing her range of music styles. She also has a real talent for putting together other great musicians.
Both of these young ladies are a force of nature on the drums. Rich, Moon, Baker and Bonham are all smiling at these two.
How?!? If someone like Ian Paice knew my name, especially as a drummer, I'm not sure I could function much less speak to him. Congratulations Sina, this is another step on your way to the recognition you deserve. I fanboyed(?) out for you when he said your name :D

sina isn't that good on my opinion. she messes up on timing very often.
I've watched the full 48 minute video, imho it is very much worth the $4.99 for the 72 hour streaming period. Needless to say, all three are phenomenal, they perform the song together, then each play a solo of the full song. As one might expect, I enjoyed Sina's solo the most. Also, Ian interviews Sina and Yoyoka, which, speaking for myself, I would not want to miss; it's a great opportunity to see and listen to Sina in a conversational setting, so nice she is. Kudos to Ian, the man does indeed come across as the consummate gentleman.

That was a great show and I loved it all. What an experience to see my #1 drummer of all time (who I saw Live in 1973 or so) and 2 modern drummers who I have been following for awhile now.

Ian and Sina play special roles in my life and both have (oh wonder) to do with drums.
Ian was and is a drummer who has always fascinated me most and Sina is ultimately "responsible" for the fact that I started playing drums again when I was old.
The fact that both of them have found each other and are in contact makes me just happy.
Pardon Yoyoka, but I didn't know you before, but I will certainly continue to follow your path now.
Stylistically, there are not only many kilometers and continents between Sina and Yoyoka, but both have their own charm.

Yoyoka is a little pistol, as we say here in Virginia, USA. Been on Ellen show a couple times and is getting quite well known.

I'm glad you got to meet and work with Ian. Machine Head was my favorite album of 1971. Ian still looks pretty good. Better than most rock musicians from the 60s and 70s. I just learned that Gary Rossington, the last surviving member of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd, died yesterday. He still looked better that Kieth Richards. I think Keith Richards has been dead for 10 years and he just doesn't know it, and nobody has told him he's dead. So many of those great old songs you play are from either geriatric musicians or dead musicians. Keep up the good work Sina! We love you.

I've seen it. Three complete different takes; Ian setup the basics, Sina put in beautifull dynamics and Yoyo added torpedo power. They showed exactly why you cannnot say why one is better than the other. It all was great and a matter of personal taste which you prefer. Compliments to all these three pros. To Sina and Yoyo: You have played with somebody who arguably belongs on the mount Rushmore of rockdrums and is an all around nice human being.
....you need to watch more of Yoyoka's covers to see who the queen of dynamics really is...

I can boast that I have known Sina (on UA-cam that is) for longer than Ian Paice has - since In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida 5 or 6 years ago (I have been following Andre since then as well - for you newbys, check him out - Andre Cerbu).
I haven’t watched the full 48 minutes yet, but will be doing so in the next couple of days.
Anyway Sina, congratulations on this great collaboration with Ian Paice. I have seen Deep Purple 3 times (in Australia), and he is just so good. But Sina is right up there with the best as well, and she certainly deserves to be on stage, right now, with the heavyweights of the music world. If you look at her UA-cam catalogue she can play anything - and as good as anyone. There are a lot of flashy young drummers out there but Sina seems to have that extra technical ability and polish that the others don’t have.
Yoyoka is new to me, so I will have to explore her work now.
