There is no such thing as too much ammo. I’ve been saying for years now, it’s the new gold. You can always sell it, shoot it, trade it. It will never go out of style or depreciate. The only catch is storing it properly, it’s heavy as fuk and takes up a ton of space!
with the license restrictions here in south africa, based on the license I have, I'm not allowed to have more than 200 loaded rounds in my possession at any point in time. So this video makes me envious of your laws. Am hoping to change my license type in the next year which will allow me unlimited ammo
Gave up 30 years ago trying to keep ammo locked up. Was a waste of safe space. Started using a closet, that then turned two closets... Now I just keep it stored in what used to be a small guest bedroom. Usually 2 big buys a year... Although the last two years, I just stopped buying anything, and even sold about 5k rounds of 9. Just not worth what it's been selling for...
Everytime I buy a box I update my list and inventory. It’s always good to keep track of exactly what you have. That way when you get down on a certain caliber you are aware of it. Because you might have 12k but then only have 500 for say 9mm… Just my thought on it, everyone has their own system.
Impressive . I am not sure however of how wise it is to let the world know that you have such a good supply of these items including the mags. With the politics at present I personally have adopted the "quiet" mode as to my weapons and ammunition status.
Thats a nice stockpile of ammo. I got a small arsenal of 2500rds of 5.56, 200 12gauge slugs/buckshot, and 1,000 40S&W. Hopefully I can keep stockpiling to get up to 15,000 someday looks like alot of fun. Stay safe
Love it. Nice stash. Looks like mine but I have double that I had to buy another safe just for ammo and now that's full and have rest back in other safe lol. I loved when walmart had all ammo on sale that shit was a big big steal. It's there loss wish they still sold but they dont. Keep it up. I think u have more than 10,000. Let us know when u count it. I keep all mine inventory
Nice vid!!! I followed the same philosophy. Buying Walmart, sales at Bass Pro, shipping for Palmetto. Couple buck here, couple bucks there. Now everyone is searching.
Yes they can. Every doomsday novel that I have read that involves the demise of the US government whether it be novels like the "299 Days," a book series about the second American civil war or "One Second After," a book series about the effects of an EMP weapon being detonated over the continental United States, every book references the US government trying to come in and confiscate people's wealth by usually going after the precious metals and making them illegal to own.
I would NEVER tell or show my Ammo or Amounts & NEVER comply with TYRANNICAL LAWS & as long as WE THE PEOPLE LET THEM BY they only get worse!!! All i can say is BE & STAY READY
I got lots of ammo too, but I prefer to keep it low profile and quiet. Bragging about what you have may be dangerous for your survival. Same with food.
The 5.56 green tip stuff does have a steel penetrator in the tip. It will not defeat AR500. What it is good for is punching through brush, light cover, wood, glass, car doors etc...
Impressive stock. Because that room you were in is bigger than my whole apartment I can only store so much. Roughly 14k various rounds of .22, 9mm, and some .44 magnum all hidden away so it's not something else to trip over. >.
Great stock pile Walmart here in Colorado really screwed themselves and the magazine law is null in void. I purchased all my thirty round magazines from local gun shops they just don't give a shit. Thanks for video sir.
No, some of them don't. El Paso County as well as others have openly declared themselves to be gun sanctuary counties against unconstitutional gun control laws. Laws like magazine restrictions and red flag do not apply here.
That was a interesting video and if you don't go to the range too much you've got a good start to stockpiling ammo. If you were to put a dollar value on that stockpile at today's price you would be surprised how much money you have there.
Yeah, I am very lucky if I even have the time or the ammo to spare to go shooting once a month. The ammo is just ridiculous right now. I'm very thankful to have stockpiled what I have now because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do any shooting with in the last 5 weeks.
Yes, "open cylinder" means that there is no choke. "Improved cylinder bore" means that there is no modified choke permanently bored into the middle section of the barrel either. Some shotguns don't have an exterior choke tube or "screw in choke," instead they'll have a permanent choke bored into the middle section of the inside of the barrel.
I came across the winchester PDX1 clearanced at a local department store for $1.50 a box.... There were only 10 boxes left.. I'm thinking they prices them 90% off instead of 10% off.
Cool video lot of good info.I too am a vet AIR FORCE.You got me thinking I need more shot gun ammo.I'm thinking about getting into reloading which is better to reload the shotgun, handgun or rifle????
I can only answer that I've only reloaded 12GA shotgun ammo, I've never reloaded handgun or rifle, mostly because I cannot afford the reloading equipment. My reloading equipment for my shotgun however only cost me under $150 that included the price of the the shell press, the roll crimper, the foster style slug mold and 00 buckshot mold.
It’s got a steel core in the green tip I believe still won’t go through ar500 steel I would think but should go through car doors and glass and such if I’m not mistaken that was what it was designed for but I might’ve wrong on that
I think that one of the salesmen at the gun shop that permanently closed up was alleging that specifically, the 62 grain made by PMC Xtac would penetrate AR500 steel plate. I know that it is true that you can penetrate AR500 steel plate at point blank range and ranges of about 20 feet or more with regular 55 grain lead FMJ 5.56, rounds do not need to be manufactured by PMC.
