Good times Brothers, 5 little guys is still good, imagine if you got none, now that would have been a very nice bush walk. I feel ya with the tyre, I steaked the side wall Anzac weekend 😒 lots of money later, new tyre 👍. Happy hunting Brothers. Cheers Pete

The campsite fireplace, with chimney, clearly makes surviving even one night in frosty country Victoria, that is the golden takeaway, Scott & Andy. Off-ground stretchers, too, and big wraps on the giant tarps, pardon the pun, efficient and effective setup and stash away. A few bits of gool!... but you never mentioned the metre-long brown trout or the oh I'll cut the crap right there! Auf wiedersehen, chaps!

Camp was nice but it was icy in the morning, the little fire burns out quickly

Nice to see I am not the only one who has a bad day on the gold! Still better than nothing and better than a flat tyre! Keep punching bruddas.

Nice camp, liking the fire set up. Five bits of gold, those 6000 are a electric pan on shallow gold. Got six bits today with mine, five of them equalled 1.34 grams and other one that was just audible from the surface and down a foot and a bit, weighed approx 80 grams.
If I didn't find the smaller ones there I probably would have walked away from it.
Made a few tapes on the dig and weigh in.
    I'm not a film maker, just a prospector 😊
    Cheers Craig ⛏️🥃🍺

From this one and a few other good nuggets, I don't think the six punches as deep as a few of my older machines. It should have been going off from the surface.
