The lake is extremely low on water. By the way,alto lake is just as bad. Camping is great, fishing not so good. Most lakes do not allow overnight camping l am very disappointed and will wait for more water to be added. I traveled 282 miles one way and no fish. Stayed 2 nights and left. Wont b back soon. Quemado lake is fished out by locals. Alto lake , same, heck you cant even take a grill to cook out while there. Why bother Time to head out to Colorado.ASJR
