Very nice video. I've never been to Quemado Lake and was researching on UA-cam if someone provide a video to show the campsites at Quemado Lake. I just learned that sites 1 - 18 are to close to one another. Your campsite seems to fit my bill, however I also learned that campsite is first come first serve. I have a 30ft travel trailer but what the chances I get the same site you folks got. I like how spaced apart those campsites are setup.
Sorry but I have no idea about those electric sites. When we were there they were only half full, but that may no be true year round. And the electric sites are available by reservation on recreation.gov... during peak season, I think. I would check that website to see if you can book ahead of time there. Thanks for watching!
Well, you have come to the right place. We have videos showing many options for you. Mostly we take our 24' camper out but we also do tent camp and sometimes backpack. Glad to help out! Thanks for watching.
That’s quite a little drive. So help me god, I don’t understand why New Mexico doesn’t have more people. It’s so much better than Arizona in so many ways.
Very nice campground!
Yes, we would definitely go there again. Maybe next time we stay at El Caso area though. Thanks for watching!

It about 4 hours from El Paso. You can hike around the lake and there's a trail that goes to the top of that hill on the the other side of the lake.
Yes, we hiked part of that trail and it was really nice! We need to go back sometime next year and do more. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the Video, say hello to Dylan 👍

Thanks for the informative video! I’ve been tent camping but recently retired and will be pulling a 23 foot camper. I need all the info I can get!

NM is getting more and more people, moving from the west (AZ, CA) and from north (seems lately everyone I meet just moved here from Wisc and Mich).
What city is Comotto lake close to?
Quemado lake is not near any cities, but it is south of the town of Quemado, off Hwy 60.
