    Absolutely solid advice. Useful for any off road work. Not just for Land Rover drivers.

    The old Land Rover really gets a bashing on UA-cam unfortunately but it’s proved itself over the years in many conflicts and I’m sure I read that over a hundred armies have used them at some point! Even the US army rangers have had them and obviously the famous SAS!
    We use a 1999 td5 which is a ex para truck, the paper work shows it was sent to the Middle East and then on to the falklands before coming back to the UK where we took it on to pull ships ropes on a scrap berth!
    So it’s had over 20 years in the heat and sand, then cold and a marine environment where it’s been abused and it really has performed brilliantly!
    It must pull well beyond Land Rovers recommend weight with the ropes we pull but it just gets on with it.

      Unusual it would make the return trip from BFFI, it costs more than they're worth unless they're brand new or a specialist vehicle

    Land Rovers are the best vehicles ever made by far they are just brilliant Range Rover is luxury disco and Defender off-roading Freelanders ok as well nothing can top Land Rover they go on and on and never die it's hard to get them stuck last forever people just don't treat them well which is fine if it's just your rough off-roader

    @Rifles, rigs and radio’s Really?
    Why do you believe that the plural of radio requires an apostrophe, but Rifles and rigs do not?
    The level of illiteracy in this country is an embarrassment.

    • @riflesrigsandradios4636
      @riflesrigsandradios4636  2 роки тому +2

      unfortunately the level of illiteracy nearly equals the level of pernickety.
      Fortunately, the double checking of written text can resolve this. I fear that trying to deal with pedantic tendancies, somewhat harder.
