Not being a big fan of AC/DC, I didn't immediately recognize the tune, but I loved their rendition! Kudos to the cellists whose bows, by the end of the performance, showed the literal meaning of the word 'shredding'... And a big thanks Harri for introducing us to it!
They are both amazing. I've watched just about all I can as a duo, and watch Hauser when he comes up with a new one. ALWAYS great music. Sometimes as much fun!
Harri, I think classically-trained musicians are actually the greatest rockers on the planet. I recently watched a performance from a few years back of a woman playing Pachelbels Canon, and she turned it into an amazing jazz party!
They opened for an Elton John some years back and then became part of his band for the tour. Angus would be proud of Hauser's stage spin. 'Smooth Criminal' from Michael Jackson is another good one. They do have quite a few videos. Thanks Harri Cheers ✌
The title of the video wasn't a clue for you that you were getting an acoustic \ classical instrumentation version of AC\DC's classic ? "Heavy Cello" ... props on that. Definitely the option to go with ;o).
@@reallymysterious4520 isn't he. There is music I remembered as a teenager didn't think much of and then get a second hearing and say, "I never thought of it that way." Plus he had cool hats.
Credit to the guys for really selling this in their performance. I posted a Blog entry back in 2016 titled "Some Fun Things with Wood And Strings" showing some modern non-classical double bass & cello playing to celebrate my appreciation of these traditionally Classical Music instruments. This was No. 2. My Caption: - " Turn up the bass! This one is an awesome slightly tongue-in-cheek presentation showing what can be done applying the techniques of the modern music video to some dynamic playing of an old Rock classic on these traditional instruments."
The first time I heard this I was left stunned wondering what on earth I had just watched and heard. So played it again and had a smile as wide as Portsmouth harbour all the way through. Told a mate of at work about it where to find it. He came back in on the Monday morning and was blown away by it. While he was watching it on you tube a recommendation on the side was something he said I should watch rendition which you might have a laugh about Harri. Do a youtube searc for Australias Got Talent - Thunderstruck, The Badpiper! So offbeat it's brilliant.
One of the best--and most fun!--covers of all time!

Brilliant musicians having a ball
Stjepan Hauser is now a solo musician. Last time I checked he likes to perform at the Royal Albert Hall.

I love the tribute to Angus Young at the end, spinning on the stage. 😂🔥

Wow, didn’t know two cellos could do that! Don’t know what to call it either, but thanks Harri.💕👍

They go through bow strings faster than shoes
On cellos, it's good. But the Snake Charmer doing it on the bagpipes - awesome.
Harri, Merry Christmas. Thanks for introducing me to old music new to me. You are the best.
He really lives up to his name - Harri is the BEST😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

A couple skilled fellows, but not my cup of tea.
