Yes and my rev limiter is set to 7000 (Oh my god its terribly high) ... and still no valves bent! But wait.. I've got a upgraded valvetrain and I check my PTV clearance so I don't fucking care to rev my bitch!

To all those that are saying I can't drive a stick. Have you ever drive a 450 whp car that is loosing traction to the limiter when you slam the second gear? You don't early shift a gear because you hit the limiter, because you'll kill the momentum of the engine and I'll say to you that YOU need a shifting lesson! Sometime, I don't want to pedal it, that's it!

Strange, this sounds exactly like my old 1997 White LT1 with Pacesetter Long tube headers with straight pipes (SLP Loudmouth exhaust) & K&N cold air system. I have to say it sounds better then my 99SS Ls1 Pacesetter Long tube headers, hollowed out MAF, and Hooker exhaust that exits my SLP Center exhaust.

I shim the stock rubber gasket (underneath) with electric tape to fit the bigger hole of the ls3 intake. I made a metal bracket to hold it in place.
