In fact, we have other flavors that are even fruitier, like tropical, with raisins, and cherries (don't quote me on the raisins, but the cherries are there), and we also have one with dried plums and bacon with honey mustard.
I live in Ukraine. We also call it Hawaiian and I don't know how popular it is but I never met a person who dislikes pineapple pizza. By this time I'm convinced these guys exist only in internet. Also cherry pizza kinda sounds delicious. Wanna try it

i tried it two times with two different methods just putting pineapple ruins it, water comes out and ruins the other ingredients but if you pass the pineapple chunks over the grill for a bit so they caramelize, it won't happen and it's quite acceptable Acceptable i say, i still don't prefer it

I’m Italian, so I feel I have more to say on this. PINEAPPLE pizza is not Italian. Pizza is, but with Pineapple not. It was invented in Canada. Therefore, if you want to eat actual traditional pizza, Hawaiian is not one of them. In Italy it’s considered weird and gross; Whoever, it’s all about people. People have different tastes, and we can’t change that I guess.
The main complaint I hear about pineapple on pizza is that sweet and savory don't go together. I counter with honey-glazed ham, maple bacon, and sweet and sour pork. Piggy meats and sweet things go great together.
Pineapple is ONLY good on pizza if the pizza also have spicy chorizo or pepperoni on! Because then the acidity help with the grease and the sweetness pairs well with the spice!
That’s a good way to contain the ‘eldritch horror’ type of pineapple pizza, but I’d rather cook up a ‘triple non-italian chef kiss’ type of pineapple pizza. Thanks a lot anyways!
Grill pineapple a bit, then put it on pizza. Small pieces though, don't put a large chunk in. The smokey, sweet and sour taste of pineapple will complement other ingredients which are mostly bitter or salty. It also helps make the pizza taste less greasy and much more refreshing. Didn't like it at first, but it did grow on me overtime.

Hawaiian I believe was the brand of canned pineapple used on the first Hawaiian pizza, since the "Hawaiian" Pizza originated in Canada, not Hawaii.
To me it makes sense for the cold cooking on the ham, dunno about how well the pineapple fits though, never tried it.

Me who is allergic to pineapple: I have no such weaknesses
I’m Italian, so I feel I have more to say on this. PINEAPPLE pizza is not Italian. Pizza is, but with Pineapple not. It was invented in Canada. Therefore, if you want to eat actual traditional pizza, Hawaiian is not one of them. In Italy it’s considered weird and gross; Whoever, it’s all about people. People have different tastes, and we can’t change that I guess.
I love Hawaiian Pizza. The contrasting flavors go hella well together.
The main complaint I hear about pineapple on pizza is that sweet and savory don't go together. I counter with honey-glazed ham, maple bacon, and sweet and sour pork. Piggy meats and sweet things go great together.

Pineapple is ONLY good on pizza if the pizza also have spicy chorizo or pepperoni on! Because then the acidity help with the grease and the sweetness pairs well with the spice!
That’s a good way to contain the ‘eldritch horror’ type of pineapple pizza, but I’d rather cook up a ‘triple non-italian chef kiss’ type of pineapple pizza. Thanks a lot anyways!

Pizza can be too dry without pineapple
Grill pineapple a bit, then put it on pizza. Small pieces though, don't put a large chunk in.
The smokey, sweet and sour taste of pineapple will complement other ingredients which are mostly bitter or salty. It also helps make the pizza taste less greasy and much more refreshing.
Didn't like it at first, but it did grow on me overtime.
