- Finally got the Roban UH1 off the shelf!
I redesigned the flight deck floor and 3d printed a new one with battery boxes in the proper place for CG. Still a work in progress, but pretty happy so far!
As usual, flown with DJI FPV, Pro Flight Trainer PUMA Gen 4, and Motionsic BAG.
Added Arnold equipped with motion control by The RC Geek.
This my friends could be the cure for a gaming addict person.
Actual helicopter pilot here, that looks spot on to what flying a real one looks like from the inside. It even sounds just about right.

Once you got above the tree line the scale felt the same as flights I've taken! I was slightly worried you didn't have the space to land a full size helicopter in your yard!

This took me back to my crew chief days in the Army. Great Piloting! You definitely were handling like you were sitting in the pilot seat of the actual aircraft. I have definitely been on a few of those low clearance take offs before. Perfect!

That's absolutely amazing for do many reasons. I'm particularly impressed by the range of motion the gimbal camera has and the sim control setup in addition to the fact that whole set-up is incredible.

Awesome how you are using full-scale like controls for it even. Great stuff. Love fpv and maybe heli's should be on my list to try. Hmm...... I do love flying them in Battlefield games too so maybe. Rc-wise I can do basic patterns upright in helis but that's it. Great vid.

I was curious how you wired up your air unit? I’m having trouble recording through my V2 goggles.
It’s the original Air Unit and V1 goggles. The air unit is powered by a dedicated 4 cell pack. The video is the on board dvr.
