      Idk what you did find hard, so I'll try to guess and give you some tips:
      if you can't do a magic ring, that's fine, you can do this instead: chain x stitches (same number of sc you would do in a magic ring) and then slip stitch into the first chain. Now you can work in a circle just like in a magic loop, the only difference is that a little hole is going to form in the center but you can fix that with a bit of sewing afterwards.
      Try to do your sc in a circle without pulling too much or they will get too tight and hard to work on. It is important to always do the single crochets on both loops, some people do them only on the outward loop but I recommend it only once you feel confident in how you balance the tension on your stitches.
      When you start decreasing, if the crochet hook you are using struggles to pass through two stitches at the same time, just use a smaller one!
      If you can't bare to count your stitches to know where exactly to sew the legs, the ears or the eyes, just do it using your personal style and preferences. As long you like the final product!
      Talking about counting stitches, I know it can be difficult when you are a beginner, so I recommend using paper or your phone to keep track of your counting. I always count my stitches out loud and sign where I ended up when I need to drop the hook to go do something else

      @@DIYFluffies at the end you pull one of the ends of the thread and get a circle. I'm pretty sure I'm doing everything else right, but I always fail in the end... it looks so easy, I don't even know why I can't do it... you pull so smoothly and softly 🌸💐🌬 and here Is me who need to use all my Herculean strength 🦾🦿 still sometimes the thread tears... But anyway thank you for your help!!

      Are you using a different kind of yarn? Try to make the single crochet not to tight.

    Hi!
    if we want to make a bigger pig without larger yarn and crochet hook, does it work to simply double up on all your stitches?

    • @DIYFluffies
      @DIYFluffies  Рік тому +1

      No that does not work, Just use bigger yarn and larger crochet hook. See the example on my website www.mariskavos.nl

    I ended up with 17 in third row 😭
    Everyone memes how ADHD hyperfixations hit them with crocheting, but nobody talks about hiw hard it is. I lose count 3 times a row and end up with 1 less stitch on each row, then have to redo 2 rows to fix it😢
