What are the best pieces of tech that you bought in 2024? What have you LEARNED in 2024 that you take with you into 2025? Also, be sure to check the description for links to buy most of what I talk about in this video (and thank you for clicking affiliate links!)
great video Jason. This is the first video of your that I came across and you seem very genuine and passionate. I wish you all the best and I hope this year will be the best year will bring you much joy and success.
Hey Jason. Working from home can be quite the adjustment. Be sure to take some breaks and get out there to see some humans once a day. Taking a lunch break might seem like a luxury but it worth investing in your sanity. Lessons learned from years of working from home.
I don’t think dslr is bad at all it least you get stable good quality video consistently unlike smartphones when they do updates and things don’t go right with software bugs and than have nothing fall back on and audio and video quality are 2 most important things to me when watching a video over the content that’s being done within the video
Yeah I didn't mean to imply that DSLR is bad necessarily... just that it being as high a priority as I placed it right out of the gate was in hindsight a bit unnecessary. I could have easily launched by using cameras I already had and been just fine without the added $2500 of upfront expense. Having said that, I do love the quality and of course I'll use em, I already have em!

I like the lighting in this video. It draws the focus on you and not on some fancy background.
Thanks Derek. Yeah I've definitely been playing around with that. I'm liking it too.
