I have boots that Grant me a lvl 15 fanaticism aura and I have max resistances and I am not even done with act 1 yet. I am doing a Zealot Pally build. I got it to work with PlugY BTW. I tried my hand in accounting I passed the 1st course but failed the 2nd. Then I changed my major to Computers after that and did very well.
That "wake of fire glitch" is related to a missing animation i think. Back in the days, when i was playing with data in Excel tables of D2 mpq's, i was facing the same thing when swapping skills of different chars and mercs

One thought come to my mind: maybe rule "must use item" should apply to items not used before. So to avoid using same garbage items over and over again, but still seeing every item in work.

Problem with using two different versions/directories of D2 is that it messes with registry as well as anything with 1.14 does something weird with the Saved Games folder. I ran into the issue trying to play multiplayer with some friends and I almost lost a couple months of progress on PlugY
doesnt mess with the registry. it does change stuff but nothing permanent. its impossible to officially lose data from multiple installs. 1.14 always uses the saved games folder for character files, and anything else uses the save folder inside the d2 folder youre running the game from.
They should just totally steal PoE's ladder system, where there are different rules/conditions every time. This + maybe even having the possibility to make a custom mode would be insane.
I hope you continue this run but not as a Hammerdin. I suggest randomly switching the weapon but just keep the other items you want. Love your videos! Keep up the good work!
Emm... What? I have installed clean licensed D2 1.14d from battle.net something like 2 weeks ago and it is 100% running latest median xl atop of itself, which is "unmodable"
thats because median xl does its own modifications to make it modable. by default its usually not nice with mods. seems direct txt mods are fine though, which makes sense
Well, i could guess probably since median XL downloads 300mb it probably has its own patch.mpq or something, but it looks kinds weird (as it was said in a video) that one way you install the game you get the different code than another
too bad the mod don't have pick-up gold so you can have repair items bigger bag space or use diablo 2 1.14d if you can make plugy to work. would you start to collect them? different set, unique and high damage items what I like to see a BattleMage a sorceress that used just weapons and shields no damage spells exsecpt automatic cast damage(thuderstorm, ect...) buff spell only(weapon buff,shield buff, or any other shield buff) no staves and orbs no down grade no bows no teleport
or maybe a caster Assassin, Amazon, Barbarian maybe have the chat vote for what item to keep if more that one item drops
Min props should definitely be set...getting bricked on items just isn't...as entertaining lol Hell should be min 3 and forget the level balancing constraint.....love this content though 👍
I just tried to download modmaker and it is detected as trojan by Microsoft Defender (and a few others on virustotal). I hope it's just a false positive and it gets cleared but as always, I recommend everyone to check it at virustotal.com and use it at your own risk if it's not reported clean. I downloaded it and tried to install it earlier today and wasn't reported back then so it must be a new detection, either they updated their database, or the archive got infected on github since then. (originally I tried, didn't work, deleted the whole thing so I don't know if earlier today I had a clean file or not)

I wish I could get this to work on my laptop but it either runs the game (v1.14b) without any changes, or it crashes (v1.14d).
Disable Cowzzzz option then run it on 1.14d
Also you can see clearly how Llama is hooked on (attack) Speed in this run XD

Here’s an idea for a run- Barbarian normal mode but you can only use crude/low quality items. Or Ironman and can only use those types of items.
Imho would be better with a rule - have to use all new uniques, so if you get dupe unique, you can choose if you want it or not.
