This is one of my favorite songs by Jim Brickman. It is simply "Beautiful." I had to laugh one day as I listened to the lyrics when I realized I felt like a modern-day Cinderella myself! I have been through so much. I know turn around is ahead for me, though. Beauty for ashes is the promise. What doesn't bring us down makes us better and stronger on the other side of it. My husband and I had our first dance to this song! Disney is really special to us. Both of us are huge fans. We had dates there, got engaged there at Cinderella’s castle during the fireworks, had a Cinderella/princess themed reception, and went on our honeymoon there. This song came out while we were dating and we both loved it when we heard it, so it was more an a natural choice for our first dance!

I've been a Jim Brickman fan for over 20 years and yet tonight was the first time I heard this 'beautiful' song on my local station here in Canada. I immediately had to look it up! I've also been a fan of Wayne Brady for almost as long ..and never knew that he could sing. I'm so pleased to have discovered the combo of these two talented guys, and now I have a new song to add to my own repertoire. Thank you for the great pleasure.
Wayne does some really good improv singing on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" Such a wonderful guy. I've been a fan of Jim Brickman's as well. His music is so soothing and inspirational.

This is prob. one of the most perfect timed music vids I have ever seen. Wayne was greatly highlighted throughout this vid and the story was greatly paralleled with the music. Just wish the ending was a bit more better. Overall, it's a great song. congrats to everyone for their changes in life.
