@u wot m8 i agree, i think Christian Bale and Adam West are the only two batmen who should be recognized. Adam West wasnt particularly special imo but he's to batman what Christopher Reeves is to superman.
The Pikachu Brothers i know that but still, thats a high sin count! Also I’ve watched videos where Jeremy will say that a movie is so good and since it won’t have a lot of sins, they will just sin little things, an example is the “Get Out” video
You can't fit everything wrong with this movie into 19 minutes. It's a 125 minute movie and EVERYTHING was wrong with it! You just need a title that says "Everything Wrong with Batman and Robin" and then just play the movie.
i'm sure you get a trillion comments like this on every video, but i cannot believe you didn't sin Bane wearing a hat like a disguise, as if that would help
Why is Bane represented as a mindless idiot in this movie when in the comics he's supposed to be THE criminal mastermind who beat the Batman, than again this is Batman & Robin we're talking about so there's really no reason to point this out, just saying!
You mentioned the frozen statue still being made out of metal when they smashed through it. The problem with your sin on that is the fact that regular steel can't be used in Antarctica because it'll shatter when impacted at such a cold temperature. Them being able to smash through it was one of the most if not *the* most scientifically accurate thing in the movie.
Agreed. But with movies like this it was probably an accident since the laws of physics don't apply half the time... Although now I kinda want Jeremy sinning his own stuff!😂
One that you missed: why does Batgirl have high heels as part of her uniform? It's hard enough to run in high heels, I can't imagine fighting in them is going to be that productive
metalguitarZomg2 Fine, let's make it more generalized: why do costume designers for superhero movies keep putting female characters in high heels? Satisfied?
Alicia Silverstone was SO damn cute as Batgirl. And she fit that suit with all her curves in the right places. Matter fact this movie was trash and she was the best thing to look at. Screw the critics.
lol, this movie was that bad this everything wrong with video is actually longer than the time most people managed to spend in the cinema watching Batman & Robin before they got out
dedreviil | Road to 0 Subscribers! It is painful and not even that good of a comedy, unless you consider it was intended to be action! That is funny...
As time goes by, and superhero movies take themselves more and more seriously, it seems that we tend to forget that these things started as comic books, and the early movies were attempting to recreate that environment and "feel". They weren't anything resembling good movies, but they were definitely far more similar to the vision you get in your head from reading the comic books, than for which they get credit.
i like how nobody even cinemasins mentions that batgirl in all the comics and cartoons before this movie was comish gordon's daughter but in this she is conveniently related to alfred instead
+TJ F Well there's are multiple Batgirls. You got Barbara Gordon, Betty Kane, Helena Bertinelli, Cassandra Cain, Michelle Carter, and Stephanie Brown. This movie just kind of took it's own version on Barbara on
true, but if they were going to go with an iconic batgirl, they should stay true to her backstory........though this particular batman movie kinda threw up all over icons and stuff so i guess it fits to have a soulless actress play batgirl in the wrong character bio
well, in this continuity The Joker killed Batman's parents, which is not accurate to the comics but really added to the narrative of Batman (1989) I guess my point is, if the movie had a good story, you probably wouldn't care which character became Batgirl. I think a more egregious sin is that they cast Alicia Silverstone, who can't act even a little bit.
A bat credit card? They had the BALLS to give one of greatest super heroes of all time a BAT CREDIT CARD?!? NO!!! NO!!! DOES NOT COMPUTE!!! DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!
I also noticed they made us believe George Clooney ever was a kid, and was not genetically engineered to look the way he is now and shall always be, and made Arnold a scientist o.o...oh dear x.x...I think I'm gonna be sick
"Oxbridge University, London." DING! (For those like Joel Schumacher who couldn't find England on a map, Oxbridge University isn't even a place and is certainly not in London.)
True but it's clearly the result of a cultural ignoramus not understanding a colloquial portmanteau of Oxford and Cambridge, or realising that there are cities other than London. And don't get me started on a university student wearing school uniform.
another thing that always bothered me about this film was Bane being as dumb (or dumber) than a sack of rocks, in the comics he is quite bloodthirsty in his own way, and the venom DOES affect his mind (at one point actually causing him to forget Batmans' true identity) but in the comics, the guy is a tactical GENIUS and has higher than average intelligence in general, and here he is basically mook with super strength, hell he is'nt really used against Batman and robin in any way until the final fight. man this film really really just gave up on the franchise. note: also what happened to all the guys looking to buy the Venom serum from Dr. Woodrow? did they hear all the crashing and smashing and kinda just bugger off? or were they just stood up in the observation area when Poison Ivy just walked away with Bane?
BloodySteel64 yeah i knew that, But this films Bane showed an almost complete lack of understanding of the character for my taste, basically making him a dumb mook side character, when in almost all other portrayed media he is not dumb at all.

This is why I never buy the 4K Ultra HD 4 movie box set when it’s on sale at Best Buy, on Amazon, and at other retailers. It retails for Watch Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992). You only watch Batman Forever (1995) and Batman (1997) if you want to watch how not to make a film. Nothing was serious about Batman & Robin & Batman Forever. Danny Devito's performance as the Penguin in Returns shits on any performance in Batman & Robin and Batman Forever Chris O’Donnell is one of the worst actors to ever appear on screen as well as Alicia Silverstone. There is a reason she kept getting casted in 90s movie. She was hot as hell with zero talent. If Clooney says Batman & Robin sucked it sucked!! Not even 3 A list actors, Uma Thurman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and George Clooney couldn't save it.
How is there no sin for Alfred's information about Batman and Robin being guarded by a three letter password (without any numbers or symbols) that sits right on his desk? And for that matter, Alfred didn't want her riding a motorcycle, but she's riding a motorcycle during the scene where they suit up into their silver Batsuits. So, he made a motorcycle for her, but didn't want her to drive it, but wanted her to help Batman?
Actually, the vibe I got was that, yes, Alfred didn't WANT her to do all that stuff. But he also knew he wasn't going to stop her from trying. So he decided that, if she was determined enough to "crack" (I mean, guess) the cd's password and go ahead with helping Batman he might as well help her as much as possible. Apparently that included a high heeled sexy-leather outfit :p
The movie wasn't ever EVER trying to apply to dc fans. It was at the time, instead, trying to get the younger fans involved in the crap. And what do young ones like? Pretty colours (different suits, ice guns, ivy, bane, the bat symbol) Anyone who knows how to read past the cover of any comic, won't like this movie. I remember when I first watched this. I didn't care about canon-ism, what suits were in what, who was who. I knew batman and robin... so sinning this is literally like sinning pingu for being unrealistic.
As a loyal Batman fan, I'm "taking the liberty" of giving this movie an extra 1,000 sins for existing and for corrupting my childhood. "Chill! Chill! Chill!"
I know how you feel. When I was little Batman and Robin was my favorite Batman movie, but when I became older, watched the first three Batman movies, watched Batman and Robin, and I almost shot my tv. I even had to go outside and screamed then went back inside to finish it

Clooney hates this movie so much, he routinely apologises for it and often refunds anyone that paid to go see it at the cinema.
Richard O George Clooney sucked, Val Kilmer should have came back
Val Kilmer *IS* Batman! I agree that he was the second best, after Adam West of course.
@u wot m8 i agree, i think Christian Bale and Adam West are the only two batmen who should be recognized. Adam West wasnt particularly special imo but he's to batman what Christopher Reeves is to superman.

Yeah they portrayed bane in a terrible way in this movie
Well fortunately Nolan, Hardy and Co. Got it "little" better.

Exactly; the campiness was very appropriate before they became Oscar bait
i like how nobody even cinemasins mentions that batgirl in all the comics and cartoons before this movie was comish gordon's daughter but in this she is conveniently related to alfred instead
Yeah that bothers me as well
+TJ F Well there's are multiple Batgirls.
+TJ F That's one of the many many stupid things in this movie, but it's alright for Jeremy to not sin it. The book's doesn't matter, you know?
well, in this continuity The Joker killed Batman's parents, which is not accurate to the comics but really added to the narrative of Batman (1989)
I guess my point is, if the movie had a good story, you probably wouldn't care which character became Batgirl. I think a more egregious sin is that they cast Alicia Silverstone, who can't act even a little bit.

When Batman says “Hey Freeze, the heat is on.” I always sing The Heat Is On by Glenn Frey.
another thing that always bothered me about this film was Bane being as dumb (or dumber) than a sack of rocks, in the comics he is quite bloodthirsty in his own way, and the venom DOES affect his mind (at one point actually causing him to forget Batmans' true identity) but in the comics, the guy is a tactical GENIUS and has higher than average intelligence in general, and here he is basically mook with super strength, hell he is'nt really used against Batman and robin in any way until the final fight. man this film really really just gave up on the franchise.
note: also what happened to all the guys looking to buy the Venom serum from Dr. Woodrow? did they hear all the crashing and smashing and kinda just bugger off? or were they just stood up in the observation area when Poison Ivy just walked away with Bane?
Bane is the villain who broke Batman...

Danny Devito's performance as the Penguin in Returns shits on any performance in Batman & Robin and Batman Forever
Chris O’Donnell is one of the worst actors to ever appear on screen as well as Alicia Silverstone.
Don't think too hard on this, it will just cause a few of your brain cells to die. Plus this movie isn't even worth trying to find logic in it.
Fair enough.
Her suit had very high heels which would cause broken ankles within seconds or minutes, at most, of running with.
No sin for « Robin » wearing the night wing costume but being called robin
What's funny is his outfit in this movie is almost exactly the same as his new 52 Nightwing outfit.
The movie wasn't ever EVER trying to apply to dc fans. It was at the time, instead, trying to get the younger fans involved in the crap. And what do young ones like? Pretty colours (different suits, ice guns, ivy, bane, the bat symbol)
Anyone who knows how to read past the cover of any comic, won't like this movie. I remember when I first watched this. I didn't care about canon-ism, what suits were in what, who was who. I knew batman and robin... so sinning this is literally like sinning pingu for being unrealistic.
Now that i agree on
Nightwing is a blue symbol and Batman Beyond is red symbol, basically this is a nothing symbol
