Good job, guy 👍 I do by my self exhoust's for motorcycle's, but did not film jet. Seazon is closed, so now in my plan to make 110,5mm single pipe with servo valve for my Suzuki VZR1800
Looks to me like the gas and sound has a strait path thru the muffler. Shouldn't there be a cap on the outlet end of the perferorated pipe which will force the gas and noise thru the insulation????
What are the materials used? What is the sheet thickness? What is the diameter of the ceramic fiber wrapped pipe? What is its length? Could you please write the list of materials you used?
this muffler will broke on side welds cause each side is straight not rolled up (check pro mufflers like HKS etc) + use steel wool first on perforated pipe than ceramic wool
No, it will not crack, it's "rolled up" only because when it's welded like this "not rolled up" sheet is very hard to stay flat. Second thing, steel voll is not good because ist fireable, they probably use stainless wool.
@GPGarage1 ofc will crack, I work in performance exhaust company few years and they build milions od mufflers, years ago they have problem with broken welds on sides cause sides are not rolled. Your muffler works on welds, when you roll up sides then force works on rolled part and weld is only for holding. I have a lot photos if you want. 2. Yes I mean stainless ofc
ua-cam.com/users/shortsMKhOwC8jbPU?si=Kzxdf4HXCNZ5EKXh I made this muffler and have been using it for several years, there are no cracks, but it is made of 2mm seamless pipe and 2mm sheet, but price of that is more weight. I totally agree with you, rolled up is better if you have hidraulic press and tools, but if you don't have, the more thickness material is way to go.
Well done am going to make one
Very nice work. But the big question is: how many db does it make your exhaust quieter?
Beautiful work. May I ask what's that blue thing you're putting on the Parkside polishing wheel?please
Thanks. It's blue polishing compound.

Eso mismo se puede aser en miniatura para motos grande y funciona??
The finishing would look better if you could use steel ring at the joints after sealing that would have helped to hide the joints.
Отличная работа!как называется огнеупорный наполнитель?
Thanks, it's ceramic wool/blanket.

That’s what I want to know.
It's going to be up to you and what you are looking to achieve. More durability.. go thicker. Less noise.. go longer or change the design.
Lmao well played literally no diy here
y la prueba?
