フィンランド語の”kuin”は前置詞で、「よりも」ということをさしています。そして”ei”は”rakkaampaa”が受けて「〜も〜よりは愛されるべきものはない」という意味になります。

「山も，谷も，湖，岸も，愛されないだろう…北の祖国よりは，美しい父なる地」が適切な表現だと思います．
否定詞"ei"は"rakkaampaa"が受ける．和訳するときに順序が入れ替わると混乱を招きかねないので，私が示した例がいいと思う．

hey, i love all the nordic countries, and when i say we sould all become one country, i ofcourse mean as equals, we would be able to protect ourselves alot better against countries like Russia.
My grandma's father went to the winter war on the finnish side against the Soviets as a swedish Volunteer, becaus we feel a strong connection between our countries.

I found most of national anthems I uploaded from 'NationalAnthems. us'.
I'm interested in classical music for a long time, and national anthems have additional values such as culture, history, language, art and so on of each nation.

20 years later the estonians also took that melody for their anthem

Oh, will people ever learn? Finland is not a part of Scandinavia. Scandinavia consists of Sweden, Norway and Denmark but not Finland or Iceland.
However, Finland is a Nordic country.

The reason ot was written in swedish was that we didn't have our own language to write. We could speak our language, but not write it.

This melody was created by German composer who lived in Finland. But in Estonia have it more time juse as HÜMN. Estonians really dont want that and Finnish too. That was both goverment desision not peoples. But another hand it doesent matter because we are very close with Finland by culture and language so...in my case hole world may have some HÜMN if they want.

well, these discussions here has surely been a wake up call for me.
i realised there were some old grudge's left between the countries in the north, particularly against sweden, but i did not in a thousand years think there was hate least from Finland.
but please tell me if this is due to the fact that Sweden once had pretty much all countries up here under swedish control, or to the fact that Sweden was Neutral during ww2?

The Finnish "book" language was created for writing purposes by Michael Agricola in the mid 16th century, whereas Maamme, or Vårt land was written in Swedish by a Finn who spoke Swedish as his native language in 1846 and composed by the German-born composer Fredrik Pacius in 1848.

Ah, I thought back then that all Finns knew both Swedish and Finnish, but since then I've learned that it's more of a lesser language. Still, this is just further reason then. xD Since I want to visit Finland one of these days.

my grandma's father saw enouth action to get shot in the leg, its discraceful that you even try to dishonor volunteer's.
There is a reason Sweden did not really fight back the last war, we had a King that didnt care, and it was one of the most powerful nations that attacked us.
Sweden today still has the biggest infrastructure of all the nordic countries, and the most developed military technology by far.
Stop being so high and mighty. Sweden and Finland were united, and fought together
