Hello. Right now, that bicycle is on sale for €4,200, so I'm thinking of even buying it. The only thing that bothers me is that it's a mullet. I've only ridden 27.5 so far and that bothers me, since the bicycle is something I would sometimes use for classic trails in the mountains.
Bargain 👌 Interestingly I used to ride and was reluctant to go mullet but when I did… I’ll never go back now 👌 If you got a buddy with a mullet bike see if you can have a go, takes a couple of rides but you’ll know soon if you like it or not 👍
Thanks for your answer. but in the group there are about 15 of us who ride bikes, I'm the oldest, they're all around 20 years old, I'm almost everyone's dad, 😊 everyone rides 27.5 wheels, nobody wants to ride 29, frankly, it's almost impossible to buy a bike with 27.5 wheel size and with a fork travel of 180. All are either the Mulet version or 29 inch wheels.

@@ForestMountainBiker Im struggling with what size to pick, because canyon recommends medium but then you and multiple other people have or recommend a large for me. Im 6 foot aswell but more slender so i dont know whether a bigger bike will be harder to move around
So would you say that this bike handles the likes of FullMoto, Boompah and Rooster easier or with less effort than your Full Fat? I totally get that it will be more manoeuvrable but wondered about the general tackling of the bigger stuff.
Really good question, and I was nervous for my first runs as the bike feels so light, but it did feel easier if I’m honest compared to the full fat, on the longer runs way less arm pump/effort 👍 Still love the full fat, just rides different, but not in a sketchy way, in a fun way 👊
@@ForestMountainBiker Interested to know if you had any creaking from the plastic headset / spacers? Or if you swapped them out for metal? I've read the Cane Creak ZS49 top cap is a perfect fit.

the carbon on the torque seems thick? are you happy with it? because i am between propain cf5 or this
It’s thick but definitely strong and stiff, never ridden a propain but heard good things and they look nice… tough choice buddy 😬👍

@@davinci69 I think Canyon may let you swap it within 30 days, check that though! Rider preference is everything, only you will know 👊

Did you get rid of your eMTB? I can’t make my mind up to go eMTB or standard mtb but higher spec for the same budget

Ive had a love/hate relationship with my 2022 torque cf7. Just had to replace the headset with a cane creek. Canyons headset are by far the worst.

Canyon use plastic for the headset spacers. I prefer a more traditional metal headset ideally 👌👍
