The thing about really big subs is that you can hear them several blocks away, even if they don't seem extremely loud up close.

I watched this build from the beginning and for some reason I never grasped how immense it really was!? I guess during the build there weren't many points of reference but seeing Anthony pushing it up to the back of the truck..... W-O-W! And then seeing them playing!.... HOLY SH!T!

1 24 has roughly the same surface area of 4 12's, o you're basically looking at 8 12's back there, that's insane. Please, please if you drive around with that box back there, find a way to secure it so it doesn't kill everyone inside if you have a wreck. I had a sub box for a single 15 I built and installed knock my buddy out and nearly kill him when he crashed. I know it will look like crap, but just a ratchet strap through the seat belt mounts will help, and you can always take them off when you stop to give a demo.
Area of a circle = (1/2 x diameter)2 x pi
Area of a 24 inch diameter circle:
(12 inches)2 x 3.1416 = 144 square inches x 3.1416 = 452.4 square inches
And 4 12's have about 452 square inches of cone area. So 1 24 = 4 12's in raw surface area.
Add in the massive linear excursion and you have the ability to move a ton of air. When you think about the box enclosure requirements, 2 24's actually saves a little bit of space over 8 12's.

Steve having to regulate! lol! That looked violent as hell! The 24's don't seem like they have the same excursion as the smaller versions though. With that much cone area they probably don't need to move as much to dig out them low low's.
