I feel very fortunate to have seen Jimmy play live several times at different Bluegrass festivals there was never a better live Bluegrass performance than Jimmy in my opinion.
Great clip - Del gettin' ON IT! Yeah, Boy! And Jimmy's lovin' it. (Then) BIG Al Munde holdin' the wreath high and pickin' strong. Vernon & Gloria Belle - all great. This is a good one!
That was such an awesome kick-off that Alan did! He only worked for Jimmy Martin for 2 years, until he started Country Gazette and the Flying Burrito Brothers.
Now good people it just don't get no better than that. Finish off with that classic Jimmy Martin/Lester Flatt G run, and you've just fried up the rabbit golden brown.
The best that I can see,he is in C.I really can't tell where Alan and Jimmy are capoed, but it looks like the fifth fret to me. Might be key of B,though.
