This little wild bird who roosted in my heater box did not like TV. It wanted music. We listened to music full time for 7 months. Sounds like torture, but it was one of my retirement goals to broaden my music listening, and that sure did the trick. I never suspected that birds were so intelligent. It listened to me from before I woke up in the morning until I was asleep at night. The bird had curiosity and could figure things out. The way in which it prompted me to play music changed over time. One of the things I disliked about the bird was it tweeted when I yawned. I tried yawning silently, but it could hear that, too, and tweeted. It's a gas listening to music with a bird. It liked all music, even the weird stuff, but it liked big band swing music the most because of all the soloists. It loved the soloists, like in the 5th movement of Beethoven's 9th Symphony, when the soloist would start singing, the bird would tweet each one. It also liked crescendos. It tweeted when music began to be repetitive. It would tweet when a song was about to end. When the music volume went soft, the bird would tweet quieter. It flat tweeted You Tube when it interrupted the music. It would flat tweet me if I made a noise during the music. It listened to my keyboard and mouse clicks to predict if I was going to play music. It had an insta-tweet that it would use for various things. A couple of times, it insta-tweeted when the music burst suddenly very loud. The problem is that it would hear the music and do it's insta-tweet before I heard the music get loud. I think birds process sounds in their brain quicker than humans. The bird would listen to the first few bars of a new piece of music, as if it were getting to know the music, and then it would tweet. But if I put on the Beatles, it would tweet right away. Max has a awesome personality. I enjoy his videos. 👍.
Whenever I need a smile, I watch this video. Max cracks me up when he's telling you off here!
I've never met a person that said they wanted a bird, I've only known people with birds
Underrated comment you deserve more likes. Andy England 🇬🇧👍♥️
I had a bird in Hawaii, and I still wish I had one but not Max..lol
I want a bird
I knew a woman who had a parrot. She described it like living with a hyperactive three year old who has a pair of bolt cutters you can't take away.
@@ericwoytasek269 tell me about it had a parakeet in Hawaii my ears took a pounding figuratively and literally..lol
This is more interesting than is has any right to be. My wife and I keep watching you and Max, amazed.
Hahaha he looks like he’s plotting against you towards the end of the video 😂
The slide down the bannister was priceless. Max is my birds tv.

Looks like Max is mad as heck.
Wow! Never seen a bird give a human the cold shoulder. 😂
Put a documentary of birds on TV, and see if Max will watch it with you. It would make an interesting video, on his reaction.
I've never seen any other bird rant as effectively as the cockatoos do !!!
HAHAHAAA!!! I just love Max when he does his incorrigible sputtering tantrums!!! SO FUNNY!!!! OMG: then he stomps up the stairs just like an angry toddler, and sulks for a while!!!
This bird cracks me up!!!
I just discovered these videos in the past couple of weeks......I've become addicted.....and when my Cocker Spaniel hears this bird: he comes to watch him too!!!!
Thanks for the laughs!!
he's NOT a toddler. he's a BIRD. They do not understand your words enough to have a conversation. It's all mimic
and sound. These birds are SO sensitive......
