How about tell us how to pair it
i've not used this model, but as for the button layout and usage it seems quite similar to the sho-1 and i have no issues using that, i do really like the harder more clicky feel of the packtalk however (thats a great overall unit, the best of the bunch on i think all points), but in all cases ( i've used q2, g4, g9, sho-1 and pcktalk) it always takes a second to find the right button ;)
Still find it odd though that they cant buff the range, even the sho-1 has 1.6 km (line of sight) range.
Is the volume load enough when riding on motorways/highways using the supplied speakers but with earplugs for protection?
Generally, yes, we find the speakers are loud enough when used with most earplugs. Everyone's hearing is different though. -DrewZilla

RevZilla, is it normal that the sound on my C3 Pro is not only unbalanced but also very low? Can't almost listen to calls or music when on the road. Thanks!
No, sound should be normal and balanced. Are you comparing it to other communicators you've used? You may want to reach out the Schuberth as well for some more technical troubleshooting. -DrewZilla

do you know how to pair a BMW System 6 EVO with a SRC 3 Pro ? I cannot pair together in the "helmet-to-helmet" mode. Can you advise me please ? thank you
We don't carry BMW helmets at the moment, so we aren't able to troubleshoot the issue. I recommend reaching out to your local BMW dealer or to Schuberth. -DrewZilla
3:25 BE CAREFUL pulling that neckroll out. It's really easy to break the stupid little plastic pins - i've had to drill my pins out after breaking them and superglue in steel replacements.
Are these only for the flip up helmets?
This specific version is for the C3 Pro and E1 modular helmets. There is a slightly different version for the full-face S2 Sport model and then the SC1 Advanced for the C4 modular and R2 full-face. -DrewZilla

I really enjoyed this review! I have one question though: Do any of the Schuberth communication systems fit into a Schuberth R1? Because I couldn't really find a clear answer to that question I thought I'd ask you pros :)

i got the SRC with the C3 Pro helmet. when riding on the highway. i cant hear a thing . Its not about the positioning of the speakers, it just doesn't have the volume,
Agree. It just does not have the volume.
Also The FM radio antenna is not good enough to hear a clear sound.

Can this be installed on the older version of the C3?
You can, but you'll just have to tuck away the plug that would have plugged into the helmet halo antenna in the C3 Pro. The communicator doesn't require that antenna. It just extends the range when used in the C3 Pro. If you just need simple functionality, you might consider the older (cheaper) SRC for the C3. -DrewZilla

Yes, however you won't be able to use the plug for the C3 Pro's integrated antenna. You would just tuck that plug away in the neckroll. -DrewZilla
have 2 of C3 Pro Schuberth with SRC already installed at the factory, from more than 2 years - and after years and years from now, when I will go ride on ''the other side'' - probably I will ask them to bury me with rhem :)))

Drive by a car that has its bluetooth open publicly, your SRC will loose connection with your nav instantly and try to connect to the car. Then, you have to restart the collar.. try to use the switches while driving AND WEARING GLOVES. The designer of these collars are NOT bikers. The USB connector on the C2 model is hard to connect to its charger cable (unless you cut away the excess plastic "sleeve"). And where do you stick the usb cable ? In a C2 helmet, there is no room, so you have to use force to jam it between the shell and foam. sigh. It is still the best solution out there, but it is not cigar yet.
when I use the mic on my C3 Pro, the boom is literally in my mouth. Does it need the foam on it, or just to noise cancel when the visor is up?
The foam helps with wind noise even when the visor is down. You can remove it to see how audio quality is affected though. -DrewZilla

u cant pair with other major brands . so if ur friedns have something diffenret. u wont be talking to each other. at your notice.
I bought two pairs one for me and one for my wife, both of them had several problems, My wifes i think is still working,we dont use them anymore beacause mine after the expiry of guarantee they couldnt do anything!!!
so i would like to ask if anyone knows,if i bought the One that everybody is recommending(sena 10u)it will match with schuberth src?
The SRC and Sena 10U for Schuberth can pair via the 10U's universal intercom pairing feature, but the intercom distance is slightly reduced. If you ride together as rider and passenger, this wouldn't be an issue. -DrewZilla
