Love the intro! Thanks for posting, it’s refreshing seeing more of a beginner/intermediate rider riding these hare and hounds usually it’s just the fast guys ripping full send across the desert which is fun to watch but intimidating for people who have never raced these events like myself. Subscribed dude!
@@desertdrz man, I really appreciate the kind words. I really want more people doing it- it's too much fun to pass up. But yeah- anyone can do it, just takes some perseverance !
Great job on that big steep downhill. Not walking the bike and just keeping your balance letting the bike roll. That’s how it’s done. Then so hilarious when you dump the bike on the up hill and just rip off the mirror… that’s at least another 5mph faster right there
Cool video, thanks for sharing! Great job with your race that dust was baaad!😎👍🏁Also good of you to stop and check on George🇺🇸 and the other down rider👍👍
Thanks for showing what it looks like to get this at a nice pace! I just posted clips from my race as a complete novice and appreciate the tips you offer in your commentary.
Just a little suggestion, quite following the dust ,stay on the course or next to it to get out of the dust ! You're going to get yourself in trouble if you keep doing that! Just a suggestion though!! Look way ahead of you! You'll be able to go faster and you will be prepared for what's coming up !
Had a really gnarly cartwheel happened to me right before George in the same spot in about two minutes later I watched him crash while I was sitting there so I ran over there and was checking on him and decided to go hit up the checkpoint to let them know Really sucks watching people you know crash😢, i’ve been talking to him. I guess he got pretty wadded up. Somehow I escaped with some bruised ribs.
You maybe a little over geared for the climbs and descents. Try dropping one tooth on the front sprocket. Tractor up the hills. Let the engine slow you down the hills.
