It was a fun and challenging race. Loop 2 would have done me in. Just really started racing last year and it is all about having fun, not getting hurt or busting your bike and getting better each year. Cheers. Good riding btw.
Thanks Rob! I've done a couple of lap 2's now- and the main goal being to complete it, but also I have no shame in DNF'ing. You should try and do a lap 2 up until each check point. each check point usually has an easy way back to camp because they have trucks etc there. That's how I started.
When I race, to keep from getting injured, I treat it like a fast trail ride. The last place rider at a race is at least twice as cool compared to people who don’t race 👍
Hare and hounds are literally a survival race when you first start. Keep it up. It gets easier after a few. Speed will come. Keep that mindset”just a Sunday ride with the boys”.
Congrats on the finish. I had a bad wreck on loop 1. So I had to take my time and slowly complete loop 2 injured and with a concussion. You passed me near the beginning of loop 2.
Oh dang!! Were you parked next to us in a Tacoma? Drove out by yourself from Vegas? I think I remember you on the first hill if so. Good job hanging in there I hope your concussion wasn't too bad man
That’s a great video! I ride about your pace would love to get an adventure day in with you. I work from home so had this running on my 65” TV sitting sound up loving the KTM sounds while tapping computer keys for 4 hours!!😅
I usually carry 3-4 extra go pro batteries and I run the camera on extended battery mode. Each battery lasts about 70 minutes if I'm lucky. 4k 30fps in super view at just the first stage of stabilization.
I was in SoCal MC in the '80's & '90's.. the motto was "a finish is a win, a point and a pin"! Keep on finishing!
100% finishing is winning.
on the line before the race i always say "smooth is fast and there's nothing wrong with last".
Hell yeah brother. Love to hear that dirt bike addiction growing. Thanks for the shout out man and congrats on finishing a full hare and hound. 👍
1000% addicted- and thank ya. Looking forward to the Moab vid. Do it

If 150 people missed a CP than it should be disputed with H&H. In the past they've removed the cp...idk 150 guys is alot.
completely agree.
