Congratulations on finishing your masters, Ruby!! It's a pleasure and a huge motivation boost to be able to accompany your journey from afar. I'm currently 3/8 semesters into my bachelor's degree in biology, and when things get too overwhelming I turn to your videos to not give up. I saw your IG post about the stress of finishing your dissertation, and hope that you're having the time to reset, relax and just enjoy yourself (and the many amazing libraries Oxford has to offer).
Have you ever considered doing a PhD? I don't think I've ever seen anyone who seems more suited to be a researcher than you hahaha, what with all the books you still want to read :)
Ruby, I hope you don't take this the wrong way but you don't have to film yourself and force a smile when you don't feel like it. It's ok, nobody has to keep the appearance of being happy all the time. I just noticed this in your last few videos, please take care of yourself ❤

It’s a wonderful collection of biographies and writings of different authors all centered around the theme of walking and spending time in nature as a means of inspiring creativity and thoughtfulness. It seems like it would be up your alley and I know you really value nature walks in your daily life! Do you mind sharing how you handled the academic pressure at Oxford? I went to a reputable institution for my undergraduate studies and personally I felt so much pressure to make the most of the resources and research there that I really struggled to have balance and make friends. I also felt a lot of pressure from peers to be involved in 101 things so to speak. Now I am very nervous to even apply to certain institutions for higher education because of this pressure. I haven't heard anyone speak on this before, so it would be really helpful to hear whether you experienced this as well, how you handled it, and any advice you may have for people like me. i got to visit oxford for the first time today, during their open day, and visited jesus! id love to study at oxford in a couple of years and your videos are a big reason for that - but equally in that they make me excited for any university, as long as i have passion and love for my subjects (classics and english!) like you do, Ruby 💕

I've never heard Ruby mention watching a Marvel movie, though I guess that doesn't mean much. It's not just about superheroes and gods though, it's a brilliant portrayal of what people are like. Especially the villains, the psychology is spot on.
This is totally your decision but are you going to take another gap year before going for another degree? You've done two dissertations and that takes quite a lot of time and effort, mentally and physically? Or are you going to go straight for another degree?

The good thing about being in the library so early, you can take your gentle time in being a pedantic book sniffer, sniffing the rim, the hardcovers, the aged pages as you would the leaves and flowers out in the forest on a splendid summer day. I'm impressed with a realistic depiction of a study routine in a well known university in United Kingdom. It's good that native/local students there are capable of attending university & can attend classes. It would be an excellent measure to reduce over-reliance on international students and give them a reality check instead of imposing herculean bureaucracy during immigration process of international people for foreign education. I'm saying this from personal experience as an international student who's going abroad for master's education in few months.
From a 6 video, the sponsorship is almost 2 minutes. I get it, but...i am not enjoying. I hope you will have more real content after you finish with your dissertation.
