How to connect Rodelink Filmmaker Kit (Lavelier Mic) to DSLR Camera (Canon 800D)

Apologies for the occasional clipping, as I was using the audio from my phone.
This video tackles how you can connect a Lavelier mic directly to your camera with the cable provided (as long your camera has a microphone jack). However, if you want to record multiple audio inputs (eg, from a 2 person conversation), this is not a workable solution as it only allows one input.
Possible solutions would be to record via a Zoom H4n pro, which allow multi-track recording, or to record one input into your DSLR and record the other into a separate recording device, then mash them together in post-production. Link to my next video for this will be up soon!
