Couldn't agree more. People who say lettuce tastes like nothing don't know what they are talking about. Also "lettuce" is a really broad term. There is iceberg, romaine, arugula, butterlettuce. Even iceberg, the one that people criticize the most has a taste. But the thing is, lettuce is usually a lot more about texture than taste. I don't know. A burger without lettuce to me just, feels wrong.

Mike actually gave a honest opinion, he also stood out from the rest, he didn’t give any unnecessary compliments, and say only what he needed to say. The others just randomly spit compliments like, “ the cheese feels like the star of the burger.”
They all look amazing, but what I love in a burger is to toast both sides of the bun and before the final assembly I put the patty in the bun alone to soak up some juice, enough for flavor but just before getting soggy, then I take the patty out, put a cheese slice on the bottom slice of bread, melt it to slick to the patty so it doesn't slide, then add toppings. This extends the burger flavor. Garlic butter is good but if you season the burger with salt, pepper and garlic, it's even better with its own juice.
