Love your music guys keep up the amazing work
You guys are killer. I hope to skip some rocks in an Indian river someday
🤘🤘🤘🤘so sorry I couldn’t make it to the uk shows
Amazing music, amazing feeling. Keep up the good work guys! Greetings from Greece!
Much love guys!! 🖤🖤🤘🏼
HUGE shout out to all my Hefnerds in India! Coincidence that I dropped this video on yalls independence day! Much love, everyone :)
❤❤❤
Please react to Krishna the cowherd by demonic resurrection (Indian death metal band)
Also Alex please check our demonic resurrection a tragedy befallen the best Indian band ever
Demonic resurrection demon king or anything from them especially Krishna or kurma
India has a lot of metal but sadly 99% of them r underground
I'm an OLD Metalhead, kinda stuck in my ways and sounds even but I recently heard this song myself and I have to say I haven't been this excited over a song in easily 20 years. Their sound is so fresh, upbeat and yet still incredibly powerful, haven't heard anything like them in decades.
Metal music will never die. It’ll just evolve
How to really bring your culture into the metal !!
All those instruments, the indian language, and that music video !!
Yeah thats more interesting than what alex say about rap and metal at 3.57 maybe everything together....
That...was surprisingly fuckin awesome. Had NO IDEA India had a metal genre but my God, if this is what they're bringing to the table, I gotta delve! Thanks for the cultural enrichment bro!
There are world class metal bands in India that you should try and find out, especially from Northeast India
I second that
Can you give some James? I would love more Indian metal in my regime
@ChubyDukSkruber try Kryptos or Lucid Recess for a start.
Alex will get huge subscriber from India due to huge amount of people using internet in India. He should focus and plan 🤣
killerdove thanks!
Do Endurant !!! For Bloodywood too
Its a beautiful message to the world and it sure will make you cry
It's an amazing video
Yes
My man! Much props to you.
Bloodywood is absolutely off the charts. These dudes have a killer sound, and the messages behind their songs...yeah. Fun fact, the dancers made up those moves in about 15-30 minutes after finding out that Bloodywood was going to shoot the video. The two groups had never met before.
Hell yeah Bloodywood!!! Love these guys. Btw ill Niño bro
I need to check their newer stuff out. I used to mess with Ill Nino hard, being from Jersey as well. Used to go see them live all the time then lost track of them after some bad hardships took over for a while. Thanks for the reminder.
@@billekeman5412 I know Christian is no longer in the band and the bassist from Metallica is the new vox. Check out Terror Universal (some ex members of ill Niño are in it)
@@bearguy7429 From what I was just reading, there's a lawsuit by Cristian and all the other members who "parted ways" against Dave for shady business dealings and sounds like maybe extortion with him being the band's manager.
All I know is Dave's current lineup has Jes DeHoyos on lead guitar and I hope Jes doesnt associate with him if hes a snake like that. I know Jes and he's killing it with Sons of Texas (check them out if you dont know them. Great band and guys) and I'd hate to see his rep tarnished dealing with shady people or being torn away from Sons.
@@bearguy7429 Right now there's 2 Ill Ninos and it's a mess with them both suing one another and making nasty personal and business accusations. That sucks. I'm messaging Jes and telling him to dip while he can, not that my opinion matters, lol.
@@billekeman5412 damn that's crazy shit. Just wish we could go back to 01/02 with the band still making the awesome sound of Revolution Revolucion. Loved them live seen them 4 times since Idaho is not a major stop
I love the fact that their kindness shines through even in moments when aggression is a key emotion. Just look at the scene where the scream vocalist is riding a donkey (or mule). For the best production, it's important to express all his energy, but since he cares about the donkey, he doesn't jump on him and doesn't shake like crazy, all he can afford is to make a few hand movements and sit still. Love and care for an animal is above quality. It's so sweet! 😭
"Ari Ari" was the first song I heard from Bloodywood... instantly hooked. But believe me... live those guys are: Just. Freaking. Amazing!!! Saw them in Frankfurt in July.... Can't tell when I saw such a power on stage and being so lovely to their fans. Next day I was hoarse and couldn't move my head because my neck was so stiff thanks to immense headbanging. Totally worth it! Will definitely do it again! Can't wait!!! Bloodywood
Two Bloodywood recommendations:
1) Jee Veerey: Song about suicide
2) Endurant - song about bullying
Wish he could react to both of them very powerful
Yes!
Update: He should listen to their new song "Yaad".
Check Machi Bhasad.
using cultural instruments to a Metal Song, they rock!!!
just found a new band
Highly recommend 'Machi Bhasad (Expect a Riot)' by Bloodywood. It's a badass song.
for sure. machi bhasad has some seriously tasty groove and flow.
Jee veerey I think it's called? Also by them, super good
Fucking hell yes
You're talking about the one about fighting depression? Yep, that's Jee Veerey. Can only redommend that song.
and endurant
I was very lucky to see them Live at Wacken Open Air this year. One of the best shows at the festival.
Wacken is literally Valhalla.
Dude u finally did bloodywood 🔥😱 check out more bloodywood they're amazing 🤘🤘
You were first a hip-hop head
Now, you have literally got poster of Metallica on the wall
*Faith in humanity restored*
There's hip hop in this track too.
This is an example of hip hop done right
I don't think he will go back to hip hop now 😂
Hip-hop killer too.
wauw first time I see Bloodywood, I love them, thank you for reacting to them. This give me the opportunity to know them. Really good music!
Bloody wood is dope! Jee veerey is one that you would really dig.
Also man starset just dropped the first single to their new album due out in september, called Manifest. It's right up your alley and the video is excellent as well.
This is fucking great. Super Fusion and done more than well. Always said that music is a universal language.
Brooo I'm Indian and I was waiting for this to happen for so long ...... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alex im loving the metal around the world thing. I love seeing people incorporating the native sound into metal music its awsome keep it up.
It's about time! I've been wanting to see you react to them for over a year! They are funny, talented, and socially conscious. And, they just finished up their 1st tour in Europe. I've been supporting them on Patreon for more than a year.
Karan, Jayant, or Raoul - if one of you sees this, I'm a big fan! I hope to see you perform in the US someday!
Damn. This was actually really good. I didn't think it would be. But that's why you have an open mind. You try things out. A lot of times, it pays off. Thanks for sharing this though as I never would've seen it.
As always, Alex, thank you for enlarging my music pool. That was absolutely f**king awesome! Thank you to Bloodywood. Imma share this with several ppl. Thanks UA-cam for allowing this to happen. And than you to all the Hefnerds for following him long enough to cover this. My life wouldnt be what it us without it.
I found this song a while ago. It was recommended on my Spotify and it was so hype and so cool. I listen to it constantly. It is a mainstay in my workout playlist
They are on tour these day , they played on Wacken Open Air < if you are metal you know that is a big deal .
Raoul is, since a few weeks, also a full fledge member of the band .
Their covers are cool and all, but their own work is so much more .
In their work they deal with social issues like depression, bullying and what not .
For example checkt out "Jee Veerey".
In short 'Bloodywood fan 4 life' here .
Well.....that was amazing. 😮 Now I have to go listen to that 1,000 more times. Thanks so much, Alex!
That is the reaction of everyone I show bloodwood. They are huge advocates of mental health as well
#MetalHealth
I'm so glad you discovered this!!. They are such a fresh band. And incorporating their own culture into the music works amazingly.
I saw them live a few weeks ago, something like their 8th or 9th EVER show. Only a week or 2 before they played WACKEN. Yes they played the legendary wacken on their first tour for their 13th ever show!!!!.
They are EPIC OF EPIC EPICNESS!!.
and boy were they good live 😁😁😁😁😁
I think you'd enjoy Jee Veerey by them (Bloodywood) as well. Definitely a song that will hit home, at least they did with me. Keep up the good work bro
