@@unclesrecords4802 I actually dig how *raw* the live songs are. Like some adrenaline stuff, and some of these random 'ive never heard' stuff that isn't on the regular albums. I have Adrenaline, Around The Fur, White Pony, Deftones, Saturday Night Wrist, Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan. I sorta didn't give that one that came out in 2015 too much attention. And i think they just released another album. But all these B-Sides and other stuff coming out of nowhere.
huh i don't hear that really, but deftones were my second real "favorite band" in the late 2000s, nirvana was the first. when I started getting high all the time in the early 2010s, melvins became my favorite band. like i had heard of them so much but it clicked at that point...yea personal dumping aside I have to say that is an interesting comparison here. would love to know what chino and co. thought of the melvins in the 1990s.... I'm sure at least one of them loved melvins...(guessing stef) sure some melvins influence made it's way in. yea neat comparison there, even if i don't hear it.
Just when you think you've heard all the obscure unreleased shit they have, you find shit like this thanks to UA-cam's reccomendations.
exactly
Its sad when your favourite song of your favourite band was never realised.

like honestly, I'd kill to have the band make a studio recording of this even for 1 throwback single to honor Around The Fur
@@GothicSnowLeopard i believe this is an early version of MX because Chino said MX used to be a completely different song.
@@officalpgom they played this and MX in the same soundcheck 1997 so it can't be.
@@peetersdrummingmusic6781 u righy
this sounds alot like adrenaline. its crazy how much the bands sound had changed from 1995 to 1997
Raw demo, heavy af \m/
this sounds halfway between the first and second album
One of their most Nu Metal sounding song
Wow dude, thanks so much. I've never heard this and been a Deftones fan for about 25 yrs now. Awesome!

Cause it sounds like shit lol naw i mean it does but it's raw af. I like it. So idk 🤷
@@Ridley_Lockhart the studio version would sound better. Chino doesn't really sound like his studio songs live
