Romanian RPK surprising range review performance on steel

- The RPK build does surprisingly well up to 300. In here I show how I sight the rifle, zero it, and take it to progressively longer distances open sights. I talk about the weapon itself, it's features, and it's limitations. Then, I get crushed when trying to shoot from bipod. Yup. Crushed. I love the sounds when hitting steel. I just got mine last month as well!!! Haven’t shot it… lol I live in Cali and you can go to jail if someone “sees” something and calls the cops on you sooooo I’m good :/
The issue I see is that retracted/extended bipod changes effective weight of the end of the barrel and balance also what makes it shoot lower with extended bipod. It needs two sight settings. Sometimes I cheat and find two aiming positions on iron sights for such scenarios. But I don't have any experience with this gun. Maybe adding a hundred or two meters to the actual distance if with bipod can help at most practical distances.

I think the only remedy for this is experience.. I have my rpk but have yet to shoot it. She’s brand new Ab2 :). But what I am saying is you’ll have to get a feel for it and adjust accordingly. It’s wild the difference with the bipod… I have heard it is actually LESS accurate using said bi-pod… I believe it’s too far forward.. but either way really cool looking gun. Great way to have an LMG in my collection without spending 10k. So I’m happy :)
