Just found a bunch of these in my garden (green variety). I had no idea that's what turns pickled ginger pink - cool piece of information!

I grow Shisho in my garden for about 3 to 4 years now. My children love the tea I make from the leaves.

You see these a lot here in Kentucky way out in the country where old abandoned homesites once were. When you see these growing, you'll know there's sure to be an old well nearby to look out for. They're considered kind of an oldtimey type of plant. I have some growing here n there on the property, and just let them grow as they may.. so long as they're not in the way of the lawnmower. lol... Thanks for the video. Very useful and educational!!

Apparently the oil has been proven to prevent heart disease in an American study which was carried out over five years. I came here after hearing about the study as I wanted to find out if I could grow the plant. I will be growing a lot of this fo sure

Seems that people aren't aware of another way to eat shiso: for Korean style BBQ. In Korea they use the leaves to wrap their pieces of BBQ meat plus fillings, and it is DELICIOUS

You can propagate them. Go to a Vietnamese Thai Lao store and they will be there. Watch videos of people propagating Thai basil. They're a little more difficult to propagate than Thai basil, but the same concept adheres.
