About 4 years ago your LaTex tutorials helped me a ton and I got surprised by seeing you around still. If someone asks me for a tutorial, definitely yours. Hope you're doing great =] Have a nice day \o/
I just wanted to comment to thank you for this incredibly comprehensive class. I have no clue whatsoever about programming or complex maths, as most LaTeX users do, so I was pretty intimidated about many of its online reviews, but thanks to your video I've just found a powerful tool for text processing. I'm certainly looking deeper into LaTeX and your videos.
I'd like to say that your tutorials years ago about LaTeX writing are helpful. I studied then finished my first report, my first academic paper. I'm so happy about that. Because I did not have any courage to write a paper by LaTeX before. Thank you again.☺
Thank you so much! I was looking for some good resources today on LaTeX and came across your videos. Already finished watching 5 videos now. I really appreciate your works and hope that you will continue doing this on future. Thank you!
The hyperref package is one I had/have to install; however, when initiating the Quick Build function to prompt the Install Package dialogue box, several subsequent package installation requests were prompted (e.g., bigintcalc.sty, infwarerr.sty, pdfbackout, etc.) When cancelling the package installation requests, I received error notifications in the Messages/Log box saying that the request can't be completed without the required package. Is LaTeX having me install these packages because they are all complementary to hyperref or are they not needed? Should I just download the hyperref package from somewhere like CTAN or GitHub, rather than prompting the installation request through Texmaker? I'm asking this because I did have to download a package to use in one of your previous tutorials, but it was just one install request rather than the multiple I keep receiving. Thank you for providing these thorough and useful tutorials.
If you still need it: after a quick search, I discovered that all the packages that pop up, are needed in order to make hyperref work. They're quite a lot, I think 13.
Thank you Michelle for your awesome tutorials. I'm using latex again after a while, so this served as a good refresher plus extra knowledge I wasn't aware of
Sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
Sister.. :) are you gonna redo the whole series or just these few? I want to follow with new, if you're redoing and will continue with old if you're not. :) and btw thank you for providing such a great content. God Bless you... Love and Respect from Nepal :)
Good evening Michelle. I've finished my document but have a little problem to justify the section to the left side of the page: 1) your line 49 \centering, or \Large, or \tiny (it is my line 59), you perfectly justify to the left side, while my three lines continue to be centered (hope you understand what I mean -only my fault). 2) The same things happen when writing sections, subsections and sub subsections. It all remains centered. I have tried several ways but do not hit the nail on the head (is that your English expression? Thank you for your help. Good night.
When I type \maketitle below my begin document statment and then run it , it is showing me ! Undefined control sequence. Please help me out. btw best videos for the letex tutorial. Thank you so much.
Hi! I just started workig with LaTeX and your tutorials are really helpful! I have though one big problem. Most of my works require more subsections that are possible to do in LaTeX. Could you help me find a solution to this problem? I browsed through the internet and found something called ConTeXt, but Im not sure how to use it
Thank you very much, this is very helpful, it would be great if you can put all the commands in one pdf?, and I am planning to finish the tutorials in 4 days is the updated version differ from the old one? i stopped at (updated latex tutorial 5) should I wait for the new videos?are you relating it soon?
The description has a link to the tex files. I recommend continuing with the old tutorial 6. My schedule is very busy this month with the reopening of school, so no immediate plans to update the remaining tutorials. They are still current, though!
Very nicely made and detailed video! However I think the order of the videos should be changed. first formatting and listing and then the other grammatic details.
I felt so much left out because my peers knew latex , thank u so much for being the friend in need.
Whatever I learnt about LaTeX, I owe it to you. Thank you so much.
Happy to help!

The X must be capitalized: \LaTeX\
