- Jesse wrote this instrumental with Vassar Clements in the late 90's I think. Check out the pinky nail fretting single strings on his mandolin. A true pioneer in music. Jesse also played on a Doors record.
The most original mandolin player of all time.He is ablolutely amazing .
the master
Jesse is amazing...one of the very best mandolin players, ever. And, one of the nicest people you could ever meet. A real gentleman.
Absolute genius at work....
I can feel the Saw grass swaying, Thanks Jesse.
He's the best and he always will be. Even age can't slow him down.
Very talented performer,he gets better with age.
OMG!!! I've only been searching for this song since 2001. I thought it was called Okeefenokee wind. I heard Jesse do this with Bobby Osborne. It was incredible.
WOW!--JESSE IS A GENIUS...just like Chet and Les Paul were on guitar!
@SirCoughsalot Just the best ...
Wow...this is really good. Where did this video come from?
It would have been (for me at least) a much better video if the camera angle hadn't changed so often. Seems like the filmmaker was determined to make this 'a film' instead of filming a musician playing a tune.
