Thank you so much for posting this. We had to put our 2 year old silken down suddenly due to a major lung problem two weeks ago and I am trying to suppress tears watching this video.
They really are. I miss mine every time I come home or realize he isn't sleeping in the bed or on the couch. I also missed my chance to say goodbye because I halfway across the country doing something for work. Needless to say, the whole processes has been completely devastating.
Ok ...I remembered the little goth one ...FALKOR! I loved him. I want to know what u love about borzoi that's diff from silkens, as I love them both but borzoi are so crazy looking and extreme, something quite magic with them too
Mara Zupsich I like that Borzoi are a bit more chill than silkens. They tend to be quieter too! They also make great body pillows lol. I like to compete my boys in running events and borzoi tend to have consistently higher prey drive than Silkens.
Also I LoOVE love love your borzoi cam on bandit ! I would do it on my lili but she's not so active lol, it would be boring? What's the camera you use for that !
Beautiful hounds. How do you find the Silkens in comparison to the Borzoi? We are keen on the Borzoi but prefer the small size of the Silken. Temperamentally are they quite similar?
DarkestEmpress DarkestEmpress There's only one borzoi in this video and he's the big black one (he's the one that has the GoPro on in the beginning). Temperament wise, borzoi are calmer, more independent, and sleep more throughout the day. Silkens are more active, vocal, and easier to train-- they focus a lot more on their people.
DarkestEmpress oops sorry, I misunderstood the first part of your question lol. I thought you meant how to find the borzoi in the video. My bad! Anyway, I love Silkens a lot but I like Borzoi more. They're much easier to raise and they click with my lifestyle more.

Ashley Siemon you are in NorCal too? Is this in auburn or something? Also who did you get your silken through? All the ones I’ve found in California haven’t had litters in a few years

Michael McAlpine I’m so sorry to hear that :(. They’re such special little dogs and sure do leave a big empty hole in our hearts when they leave.
