I love how the status of mankind inhabited planets in this universe is either: CEF (aka they are in the shit) Subjugated to CEF (they are in the turbo shit) Allied to CEF (still shit but less so than CEF and its vassals) Stalemate (it’s a stalemate) Unknown (🤷) And then there is Terranova: *ALL HELL HAS BROKEN LOOSE*
Something I like about the CEF is that despite being the bad guys of the setting it still seems quite doable to play a sympathetic character as one of them. While the faction is absolutely led a bunch of impirialist shits, as far as the average citizen likely knows their options are either take over the colonies or everyone you know and love dies on Earth.
@@11dragonkid11 Honestly, that's still a terrible way to write a perspective, and really doesn't consider how good people can be driven to do horrible things.
That awkward moment when you realize the fictional bad guys you've made up are actually more competent and progressive than the real country you live in:
It's just simple facts. If it was able to do great things, it was to some degree or another, great. It's just a matter of what particularly was great. Like the CEF has great nukes. Really great nukes.
Need for new edition of Jovian Chronicles rising. Also a need to to remind myself I have all the second edition stuff and haven't played it in years, I don't need 4th edition. Also need to see if they ever made a new edition of Chromestrike.
See, you must make your antagonist faction competent and scary, otherwise you get a comedy or just boring and stupid plot. Militaristic fascist state can have its flaws and they inevitably bring it down or force a change to something more adequate. But you saw that first word in description of the regime? Militaristic. That means that even if they incompetent in politics or general economy they still very likely competent in war. Or at least ready to dump all and every of their resources into one, believing that it can save them. So, are you sure they fall before they beat the living shit out of everyone they can reach? Top tier if instead of just slapping "nazis in space/fantasy" label and go with it writer spends time to actually write reasons for conflict and inner politics details. Why are they at war with others? How they get all that dangerous tech/immense resources? Why their soldiers keep fighting and workers keep manufacturing weapons and ammo? What happens if they win? What are "win" for them? If the answers are like "Their leader are psychopatic tyrant and want more of everything/kill or enslave everyone who isn't them. They just force people to work and fight/all their population are heavily indoctrinated. If they win they build/expand an Empire of Evil and everyone exept some specific bad people will suffer." - you got a pretty meh antagonists who can serve only as crude plot instrument.
You might think the CEF doesn't have a leg to stand on and you might be right.
But they might be able to limp along without them.

Yeah, the citizens have basically no choice, it sucks!

Someone bring the whole dinner plate and nobody going to stop them Melee to CEF
Great Video as always! i figured they relied on F.L.A.I.L. s and GRELS for their close combat support.

Remember that wrestler lady what had the name like a nation over in Asia?

So... Can the F-99s also create afterimages... with mass?
I'm not exactly sure what is this referencing
That was the F-91. The F-99 is the one with the prototype drive system.
