Just completed this blower motor replacement on my '07 Versa. I paid $36.98 for the motor assembly and it took me about an hour to complete the repair. Would have been less but I made the mistake of pulling out the motor before detaching the wire connector. Follow the instructions and be sure to do that before you rotate and pull out the motor. Thanks for the video! I saved some decent money!

I got a quote from a garage to change the blower motor on a 2010 Nissan Versa. They told me they needed to evacuate and recharge the A/C to do this. Is this correct or can I just change it without doing that? Thank you!

This video does not apply for 2012 Nissan Versa. On the 2012 Versa to get to the blower motor which is located on the drivers side, you need to remove the brake pedal assembly, gas pedal assembly and all other components that are in your way to access this blower motor. Please do your research prior to attempting this job as it can be a challenge to do a blower motor on this particular Nissan Versa. For a 2012 USA Spec Nissan Versa, the blower motor is “located” on the drivers side.

I've done this job 3 times on my Versa. I leave the bracket in place.... no need to remove it.

Is it the same for 2013? I recommended a pair of JIS drivers from vessel, they're magnetic and never cam out of the bolt.
