Bet Stephen King laughed for days.
Not even the first time it's happened to him. Apparently, once he got into a yelling match with this little old lady at a store who refused to believe he wrote the Shawshank Redemption, after she told him he should write books like that instead of horror.
In fairness he was on a lot of booze and cocaine when he wrote some of that stuff... he might not remember it.
It's a great book! If you got some time.....(about 580 pages)
It made me laugh for about 15min 😆

As a born female who has ovaries and ankles, I can testify that both hurt. The latter when I fell off a cliff path and gave myself a partial fracture. The former because nature.

Yeah, definitely that both hurt. But you don't break your ankles every month... or you do... in this case you are very clumsy person and I'm very sorry.
periods are way more painful have twisted my ankle before now that its weak trip on it all the time

The car with the wiper fluid in the engine oil dropped my stomach. As the wife of a mechanic I've seen some horrors from fluids in incorrect places. 🤣🤣

My head gaskets broke in my first car. Flooded the engine with oil and it was a sludgy mess. It has been an on-going joke for 20 years that I put antifreeze in the oil. NO, I DIDN'T, BITCHES!! I may forget to turn off my headlights ALL the TIME, but I know where the fluids go! 🤣🤣
@@UnicornsPoopRainbows that's what happens when the head gasket fails. The coolant and engine oil end up mixing. Next time they accuse you of having placed the the coolant in with the oil remind them of this process
One of my mother's friends is a mechanic, and he was doing an engine-drop on a nearly-new Volkswagen Tourag (or however they spell it). Turns out the new owner didn't know that you have to get the oil changed every so often, so the oil sludged up the engine to the point that the drag on the camshaft bearings caused the timing chain to stretch. When the engine began misfiring, they finally took it into the shop.
My favourite 'words are hard' was a dad who posted on Twitter saying that he somehow forgot to teach his daughter what an owl was so she just called them 'wood penguins.'
I'm grateful for all the dumb people out there.because of them Charlotte can make this funny vids for us!

The "Korean film" one reminds me of my time as a foreign exchange student in the US. I am from Germany and people in the US constantly asked me which language was easier to learn German (my native language, obviously) or English :D Or they asked me why I even bothered learning to speak German, because I already speak English. Some people need to understand that even though english is a widespread language, each country has it's own language, sometimes even several official languages. There are African countries that use more than 200 different languages and dialects at the same time, depending on the region. It's like the concept of learning and using a second or third language besides your mothertongue is a strange concept to many Americans...in Germany you can't even graduate from highschool without having learned at least two foreign languages. I learned english and spanish in highschool and then chinese, turkish, arabic and vietnamese in addition to my studies in university. In Europe it is really common to speak at least two languages fluently and often times even more than that. In my opinion this leads to a better intercultural understanding. Language reflects so much cultural identity and you will only understand another culture, if you understand the language.
I feel sorry for the family in Sweden. People in Sweden know bats aren’t birds 🦅😂😂

I'd honestly like to think that this would be pretty basic knowledge nearly everywhere, but it would seem that is not the case.
In my opinion, that's the problems when things are taken for granted and over-generalization.
Flying - definitely bird.
Swimming - definitely fish.
Beautiful - definitely kind hearted.
Ugly - definitely mean and nasty.
Longer than 13 inches - definitely African.
Bigger than 36-24-36 definitely American
Etc. 😂😂😂
The lady in the town center being interviewed and saying she never leaves the house reminded me of an event in my life; my hometown had a dinky little weekly paper. One of the things they did was wander our one shopping center (now increased to TWO!) and do 'people on the street' interviews complete with a photo of the person. Guy asks me "What is a habit or thing people do that really bothers you?" and I replied "Smoking, it's a disgusting, filthy habit and should be a hanging offence!" They quoted me verbatim and in the picture I'm not only holding a lit cigarette you can see the pack poking out of my pocket. I lost my copy of the paper but 20-30 people called me howling with laughter.

It is an awful habit, but I don't dislike people who do it. As long as it isn't done close to me (I'm super allergic to the smoke). Some of our best friends smoke. That's one heck of a hilarious story. I really want to know how many people even noticed 🤣😂🤣

What’s really funny is that the guy who proposed it convinced most others by telling them that “watermelon is part of the cucumber family” which is true… but cucumbers are fruits, not vegetables! 🤣🤣🤣💀
Why would someone ever think that a watermelon was anything else than a fruit? Charlottes confusion got me confused🤣 can you elaborate on the cucumber thing?

Fruits are technically fleshy seed bearing parts of a plant, so they would also include bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. Now, vegetables are other, vegetative parts of a plant: leafs (such as in spinach, lettuce etc.), stem (asparagus), root (onion, carrot). But, like in most other languages, fruit in English colloquially means 'sweet thing from a plant' and vegetable 'not so sweet or savory thing'. But, technically, the first explanation is a correct one.

Botanically, there is no such thing as a "vegetable". A watermelon is a melon, a potato is a tuber, a carrot is a root, eggplant are berries, broccoli is a flower, spinach is a leaf, (I can go on an on). Certain vegetations we eat, we just decided to call them vegetables (vegetations we bring to the table?).
What??? the eggplant is a berry??? What??? I never knew that! i knew the banana is a berry, but not the strawberry. The pineapple is also a flower :D that was another shocker for me, haha

There's only one time I've ever, as a male, been able to say my pain is worse than period pain. And that's because of migraines that mimic strokes in severity. Otherwise? Nah. Nature plays it hella-easy on men. And if I could buy, like, Midol and ice cream to help out everyone with the real pain, I would.
Fun fact: I'm an Okie. Our state fruit is the strawberry. The watermelon is our state vegetable because of this. I know, I know. Watermelons are fruits. I didn't decide this personally

I graduated in 1983 (waaaayyyy before Photoshop in case you were wondering). The "editors" of the year book literally took flesh colored white out and dabbed it on kids with bad acne. It was horrific but also I laughed until my stomach hurt. I still laugh to this day! Luckily I didn't have acne so my pic was fine. Way to go Redmond Senior High School Yearbook "editors" of 1983!!!!!!!!!!!

HYD is Hyderabad. It is one of fastest developing cities in India. It’s located in Telangana that’s a state...like you have province in Canada. They speak Telugu. I could probably Google this but how many languages are spoken in India the only one I've ever heard someone speak is Hindi (not sure if that's the actual name) but I'm assuming their are several others and I'd love to look them up and hear what they sound like!
@@donnytrogdon5455 loads .each state usually has a local Language. N there are 29 states. But within those two you have regional variations. In south India ppl usually don't speak hindi. They speak their state lang n English. Lol

Taught my grade ones that bats were mammals that could fly. They knew the characteristics of mammals and birds and could tell the differences. They also knew why robins flew south for winter, lol.

The one about the confused wife is actually kind of sad. Her husband had taken old photos and had them digitized so he could put them on his phone. They had been taken back when they were dating, so both looked a lot different then.

Something I recently learned: a vegetable just stands for a plant you can eat. So, a watermelon IS a fruit, but it's also a vegetable lol
No, it's strictly related to part of the plant it originates from. If it originates from a flower, it's a fruit, otherwise it's a vegetable.
Fruits typically contain seeds, while vegetables do not - they are leaves, stems, roots etc.

I feel like some of these are people trolling. Like the Stephen King's tweet... I feel like they were trying to be funny😂
True, sometimes I totally feel something should be in a video about jokes no one understood instead. And some of them have actually been in the wrong place.. like the whole "I hate it when my gf/bf takes photos of me" -thing where you can see from a reflection they're the one taking the pic themselves.. there is an original to it, and it was so hilarious, huge amount of people recreated it as a joke. And then people don't know they're made for laughs and they end up in videos of people getting called out instead. And no one knows they're laughing at someone being stupid, when they're the ones who don't get it right. It doesn't matter tho, they're still funny. (Not saying I can tell the difference, sarcasm is hard, if you don't know the person or the story behind it.)
