I classify this as a casual / fun combo deck. I am not a fan of combo but since I have the pcs for this deck, I built it.
I've seen the variants in some youtube videos and most of them are mono blue. I felt it was a bit slow in today's meta and so I added green to for acceleration.
This deck is easy to beat. Your opponent just needs a Gaea's blessing in their library or a removal against Bruvac. That is why a set of surgical extraction is needed in the sideboard for the Gaea's blessing.
The objective is casting Bruvac and protecting him using slip out the back. I also have root snare to prevent all combat damage when needed, therefore buying me time until I draw maddening. I have a lot of ramp in this deck to be able to pull off the combo on turn 4.
Watch the games. You'll find it amusing as to how it did against agro decks.
